And yes, Ashley is a pretty awesome character.  Glad she is back, regardless of what she is wearing. It will be interesting to see how being a Spectre has changed her views and how she'll now relate to Shepard now.

You might want to look up the definition of the word retcon, dude.

Cause I think you're confusing retcon with "redesign".

Then why are we still stuck with ME2's attitude to outfits in ME3? Unless of course I am wrong and Ashley will have another outfit for combat but then why don't they just clarify it here and now and end this discussion.

My response to this tweet is an emphatic eyeroll. That's like a preemptive "please don't hate us for changing things." And look how that worked out for them with DAII.

Her changed facial features sorta do, though.

Jeez people. The answers aren't going to all be written out for you now and you'll certainly not get the answers with a whole 5 seconds of gameplay footage.

Everyone, no matter what side you're on-

RELAX. Take a breather. Reasons will come IN TIME.

In the E3 demos, these are the former squadmates that I recall seeing:

Shepard:  Armor essntially unchanged, a bit of silver trim seems to have been added.  Oh and an omniblade 
Mordin:  Outfit unchanged
Liara:  No major changes, still in armor from LOTSB
Garrus:  Scars fixed, new armor with blue/silver coloration
Ashley:  WTF is she wearing!?

Everyone else we saw, we didn't really have to question, because they were pretty much in line with what we came to expect, then they drop Ash on us in an outfit completely contradictory to what we know about her.  With no explanation as the the whys and hows of her change, can you blame people to being nervous?  And getting upset at the deafening silence (when we're not being condescended to, Sovereign style.?)

It didn't look much like her to me, except for the skin tone. I'll accept that I could be mistaken, but from what I saw I thought her face looked different.
