So because she wore the same armor in her very short cameo in 2 there is absolutely NO WAY POSSIBLE for her to have the option in 3?
Mass Effect 1.
Go through her dialouge again.
You might learn something this time.

Seeing as I've completed ME1 and ut in over 100 hours on it, I have some knowledge, like needing to level Ashley up to get her heavy armor she doesn't ahve it at level one and might not have it in the BEGINNING of ME3 (which her piece of the demo was part of) Kaidan is shown in spectrea rmor while Ashley is shown in spectre casual gear. Also Which one of them was in catsuit liek armor in ME1 again? oh right Kaidan. Also you didn't MEET Kaidan, he's show on a poster while as Ash is shown on the Normandy where there's no one shooting at her.Elite Midget wrote...

Ashley and Kaidan are SPECTRE's they were probably at the trail as well but got picke dup in the Normandy since they're still in the Allaince (hell they probaby went to get the Normandy) Again nothing in the demo is finalized, even the level since Ash and Garrus were on a level in the ME1 demo that wasn't even in the finale game. Ashley as on board the normandy the whole time and it was a pick up for Shepard and Admiral Anderson, why should she be armored up just to wait in the cargo bay for shepard who's not even in armor himself? Plus her "catsuit" is spectre gear which is made of the higest quality materials in the galaxy like all spectre weapons and gear. Also you forget bioware confirmed squad outfit customization.
Ashley is Ashley.
Replay ME1 please. You clearly lack knowledge on this subject.
Also.
Why does KAIDEN get Heavy Armor when you first meet him but Ashley gets a CATSUIT when you first meet her?
Sexism. That's why.
If Kaiden can wear Heavy Spectre armor than so can Ashley who's a soldier through and through.
I don't believe I was focusing on Isabella and Miranda.Elite Midget wrote...

You constantly rage about a game that is months away from release , one which you know next to nothing about. If you're going to b*tch and moan at least wait until it's out. Because then you'll know exactly what to complain about.
Isabella.
Miranda.

then back up the demo and fire up the shadow broker cameras!Phategod1 wrote...

You do know that ME3 only takes place a year after ME2, right? Not to mention that ME1 took place 2 years before ME2 and in ME2 Ashley didn't change even after she met Shepard again.
whatever, get mad and nerd rage all over the forums for awhile then buy the game, play it 3-8 times. and constantly complain how they "ruined" your favorite character by changing her outfit.Elite Midget wrote...

so you know crew members are restricted to a single outfit style? did you get a memo or interview that no one else got? cus i certainly didnt get anything saying "crew members can never be wearing normal clothes or uniforms".
ashley had normal clothes in ME1.
if shepard is in trial. it makes sense that ashley would attend it, former crewmate/friend possibly love interest. good bet she'd be there. recently made spectre? should probably sport that spectre uniform right?
just because garrus for example has his combat armor, doesnt mean he'll ALWAYS be wearing it. same goes for ashley. maybe on the ship she wont be wearing it all the time.
Masss Effect 2.
Also.
Kaiden is wearing HEAVY armor at the trial.
Ashley is in a Catsuit.
Are you that daft that you don't notice this or do you support this blantant sexism?

Both factors of the time span variety were taken into account in my post you quoted. Please read carefully.
I also mentioned in the same post that we really only got to see a snippet of Ashley in ME2. We never really got to know her and what she's been through over the previous two years. A lot can happen.
But again, it's all hypothetical. I'm just throwing it in there to keep things interesting.
Reason? on BSN? IMPOSSIBLE!!!Clonedzero wrote...

Than you have no right supporting Bioware in screwing up Ashley since you didn't even like her to begin with! You have Miranda so why is it okay for Bioware to destroy one of their most iconic and strong female leads in ME into a stupid bimbo? To appease you?
Please.

A nerd that takes any bull**** from the comapnies they buy from and calling another a nerd rager? Typical. After all it seems that nerds, you imply that I am one without evidence, are most harsh against their own kind.
Turning Ashley into a sex object just goes to show that many nerds, like yourself, are disconnected with society and believe that woman should only be there to have sex with you. Pathetic, utterly pathetic.
It'll be funny when you learn how the real world works when you turn into an adult.
