Now if only i could convince myself of this... I really hope Miranda gets confirmation soon! I need her on my Permanent Squad.

She probably has a lot of info on Cerberus that the Alliance would like to extract, forcefully.

If the Alliance was stupid enough to forcefully interrogate Miranda... My Commander Shepard would happily give every single one of them to Harbinger until they release her.Xerxes52 wrote...

I would hope that all romantic interests would be able to be full party members so you can have interaction with them again especially if you cheated on your romantic interest from ME1 for it would be an interesting conversation on the Normandy with having both of them there.
For having her in my party for the final boss of ME2 makes me think that she would be also sticking around with Shepard as well, unless BioWare decided not to make that story part of ME3.

A huge problem with bioware not confirming Miranda as a full squadmate is it reeks of the exact same thing that happened with Ash/Kaiden during the reveal process for me2.
We're getting the same old runaround (oh we can't tell you that would be a serious spoiler) that they did with the VS because they didn't have the guts to man up and say no right from the get go. They knew with the VS that it would create a bit of a backlash not having them as full squaddies so they trotted out excuse after excuse until finally going with the we're cameo'ing them off because they need to be alive in me3.
Ok with the Vs this seems to have turned out to be true but in Miranda's case there is no me4 so she's either a full squaddie in me3 or they screwed the miri fans.
Seriously how does yes Miranda will be a full squaddie in me3 statement spoil anything about the story? We don't need specifics, they could just confirm and leave it at that, then when you play me3 you find out the specifics (as some meerkats would say simples).
The fact that they aren't confirming it yet or at all will always lead people to the worst conclussions, after how they handled the Vs. in me2 i'm really starting to think that way myself.
I agree.

Me too.
I don't think I would have done more than 1 or 2 playthroughs if she wasn't there.

Perhaps the reason Bioware didn't confirm Miranda at E3 is that they're waiting for Comicon. Yvonne Strahovski usually attends Comicon, Perhaps Bioware wants to make announcement with her on Stage.

This would be great.
But I also doubt it will happen.

Also some confirmation that Miranda can be on the team for a significant part of the game, possibly depending on your decisions, wouldn't spoil anything. Christina Norman said every ME1 and ME2 team member will have a story arc - but hey, Kaidan or Ashley had one in ME2, only it wasn't satisfying by a long stretch and there won't be another game to make up for it this time.

Also agree, I don't want to know where/what etc shes doing in ME3 until I play it myself (unless shes been indoctrinated, which would be ****) but a simple yes or no on if shes a full time squaddie is all I really want to know at this point, instead of the devs dancing around the answer like the whole of the ME3 plot would become unraveled if they said yes or no. I'm only hopeing that they haven't said anything about it as of yet because they want to spread out information, like who are the final squad members, instead of telling us everything at once months and months before the release date.Yannkee wrote...

"For those asking about "permanent" squad members, don't assume squad members will work the same way as me1 and me2"
What she said could be interpreted in any number of ways, but I'm guessing it's good news.

Not really. Permanent means from you get her to end of game or when the squad mate dies. Opposite situation is temporary, meaning they can be squad mates, but only as part of story or location.ViSeirA wrote...

I don't know, what she said suggests that squadmates might be available only during certain parts of the game, including the ones already confirmed like VS/Garrus and so on... I'm grasping at straws I know but please Bioware I can't play without a murdering-catsuit-wearing female by my side!!!

It could mean that possible team members rotate in and out of the team depending on where you are in the main plot and on decisions made, possibly even decisions made in ME1 and ME2.ViSeirA wrote...

That would mean our concerns about Miranda's screen time transform into "potential screen time" - how much interaction with her will there be if we make the best possible decisions with regard to maximizing her screen time? Assuming that all possible team members are treated about the same way, that would also mean that Bioware will have to create a lot of content not seen by any one player, considering that we who play 4 times and more are a negligible minority. On the other hand, it could increase replay value in a way not seen before since you won't see all potential team members' story arcs in one game, as opposed to how things were done in ME1 and ME2, where the only playthrough-exclusive content were the romances. Or even more to the point, the last third of the romances.
I think this is a likely scenario. The only point against it is that Bioware will have to create a lot of team-member-related content not seen by a significant number of players if they're going to deliver on their promise of deeper interactions.
What I would find unacceptable is to be stuck with the likes of Garrus and Tali for almost the whole game while having Miranda only for a mission or two. Do you hear me, Bioware: that would be unacceptable.

This, really I couldn't have said it better myself, especially Tali... and even Liara as a squadmate doesn't make sense, she refused to join you in ME2 because she couldn't do what she does onboard the Normandy, now that she is the Shadow Broker that should be impossible but as I said before, it's clear they're favoring the whole ME1 squad over the ME2 one which we spend an entire game recruitng by the way.
