We know that Miranda will be back in ME3, it's how she wil return that worries me.
A cameo or a temporary squadmate status is not enough for me, I want to have her at my Shepard's side during more than one or two missions.
I would like to have her back on the Normandy.

I agree 100%. I need to be able to go and talk to her on the Normandy. <3

Yeah and I also want my favorite squadmate back on the battlefield at my side.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I wish someone from the future would take all my memories of Mass Effect only to restore it on the 6th of March. This suspense is killing me!!!

Me too.
For now I continue to play Mass Effect 2 (thank you Miranda ), but I hope SWTOR and Skyrim will come soon enough so I can play and think to something else.

I've had so many playthroughs in Mass Effect 2 already and I just don't have the heart to choose anyone else but Miranda as a LI. I'm hoping that the upcoming Assassin's Creed title keeps me busy as well, I haven't even finished Brotherhood yet :(

Me neither, my Shepard always has Miranda as LI (and only LI).

They have to bring Miranda back permanently. They have already designed a less skin tight outfit, if they put her in something like proper armor from the start 80% of her haters will have to find a new reason to complain about her. :P

I'm fully expecting her to be heavily involved in the Cerberus plotline, I just hope that doesn't mean she becomes a temporary squaddie, she is definitely one of the squadmembers I would most like to see return in a permanent role.

Although as far as the OP goes I am not surprised they haven't revealed her yet, partly because of how heavily involved in one of the key plots she will be. I thought that was why they hadn't confirmed Tali for the longest time (Quarians vs Geth and all), but they seemingly have now.

Currently there are NO confirmed ME2 only squadmates returning as perma squaddies in ME3, I don't see that lasting that's for sure.

Who cares about Miranda.

They have already stated and showed Tali, Garrus, James Vega, and Liara in ME3. And Liara is all I need.

How about a little empathy? I'm sure you didn't like it when people posted 'who cares about Liara' in one of the many threads demanding she have a bigger role in ME2?

I hope not.
Or optional, for those who want it.

Last I checked, she was exhausted in the engine room. J/K

Without reading any spoilers, I'll bet it depends on your post-game affiliation with Cerberus.

"Miranda will be in #ME3, if she survived your #ME2. Where, why, and how much you'll see her would spoil the story."

I'm not sure how I should feel about that. It *could* be good news and mean she's heavily involved in the main plot.

@ohupthis:
I'll bet it doesn't. Her story may vary considerably depending on your ME2 endgame decision, but I don't think we'll have her with us for a significant time in one path only.

Indeed. Miranda is simply irresistible. Fortunately she wasn't available for femShep, it's quite likely I wouldn't have seen another romance but hers (and maybe Jacob's) in that case.

Well I guess it's better this way. I trust that Bioware would not make the mistake of under developing any of it's characters. They've already had 2 games and I think they very well know how much fans get pissed when their favorite characters don't get the proper treatment they deserve *cough*Horizon*cough*.

So I'm thinking what they have in store for Miranda won't be terrible but at least something in the range of good enough to awesome. I think our need to know more is coming from the impulses of our curiosity but I really doubt that we want to spoil ourselves of Miri/Shep experiences in ME3. In summation, I'm satisfied with what we know so far because I put my trust in Bioware that they know what they're doing :)

There's something so exciting about the thought of having Ashley and Miranda as permanent squadmates in the same game, I don't know what it is exactly.. I guess it's because they're both "Alpha females" (not sure if that is the right way to define them), but in different ways. I can imagine their personalities clashing fiercely. Same if you have Jack as a squadmate. Three ladies who will NOT get along well.

I saw a post about improvement on party/squad interaction such as how your party banters with each other DA2. It would be something to hear the dialogue between Ash and Miri. Reminds me of Aveline and Isabela's conversations, cracks me up all the time. The good girl and the 'bad' girl... nice.

It would be awesome to see how Miranda and Ashley interact, especially if they're 'jockeying for position' if both were your Shep's LI. Of course, as a male I like any prospective opportunity for the game to massage my ego.

"Miranda will be in #ME3, if she survived your #ME2. Where, why, and how much you'll see her would spoil the story."

Ok i've said this before and here i go again,How?

By saying she will be a full squadmate how does that spoil the story?

See i get they have some elaborate plotline dreamed up involving Miranda and i get they don't want to tell us and i'm fine with that. But lets face it we'd have to be pretty damn stupid not to infer that Miranda's super secret plotline involves cerberus and that maybe just maybe she's on the run from them, being held hostage by them or trying to stop them somehow.

So once again how does saying she will be a permanent member of your squad spoil anything more than we probably already know? I mean seriously Casey's already spoiled more about Miranda's storyline with an earlier tweet saying she is in danger so how is saying she'll be a permanent squadmember any more spoilerific than that.

Look at it this way, We know certain people returning are permanent squadmembers and we know mr. vega is one are we any more spoiled by that knowledge than we would be in knowing Miri will also be a full squadmate, i don't think so.

This seriously is beginning to reek of we've created a storyline as to why Miranda won't be a full squadmate but we don't want to spoil that storyline or have you all annoyed at us just yet, so we'll continue with our blase responses until we're ready.

They did this with the me1 crew right up to the point they revealed that Wrex would be cameo'd and that Liara/Vs. were being saved for me3, we're getting the old bioware runaround once again i fear.

At this point i'd be completely shocked if Miri returns in anything other than a temp role, i'm sorry i just don't see the reasoning other than that's what they've decided and we're stuck with it.

Hmm. Hudson's tweet doesn't really tell us much. Anything from "huge part of the story" to "killed by Leng" is a spoiler. I think a temp role is most likely, and I'm fine with that. I can imagine cool things she's doing on her own. The one romanced Shepard can give her up for a few more months for the benefit of the galaxy. What I would not forgive is her being reduced to nothing more than a victim.

Yeah, I also fear this. They know that Miranda fans like me would be pissed off if she's not a full squadmate, and to me the "it would spoil the story" seems to be an escuse to not tell us what they did to her in ME3.
I still have a little hope that she will be a full squadmate, but I'm losing faith. :(

I'm very much thinking the same way as you mate. I'm trying to have faith in Bioware, but with every evasive answer, my faith diminishes slightly. :(

I need Miranda as a Fulltime Squadmate <3, I'm trying to stay Optimistic but the thought of not having her... :crying:

Basically, kill her off to establish Leng as a threat and get the player riled up. It's the old women in refrigerators trick, and it would infuriate me enough to replay the SM to kill her.

Mostly, I want her to be awesome. Taking down Cerberus would be great, even if that precludes her from a large onscreen role. Romanced Shepard can afford to wait a bit.

Would you still be pissed if Casey Hudson withheld all these Miranda information because he wanted to surprise Miri fans or would that just be plain 'WTF'?? Just a thought.
