i agree to that fully it wouldnt make me mad because she was my li its how the fact is through most of the me2 story how she is a real badass like when garrus get attacked by the helicopter in his joining the team mission because when i first played that mission i kept thinking what a big middle finger that would have to garrus fans everywhere so if does come to something like that i just hope in some way she just barely survive but much rather that not happen at all and just be awesome

I'd prefer the ability to read Casey Hudson's mind, that way i would finally get a straight answer. Then again, Casey Hudson has probably trained his mind to be just as Evasive.

Would you still be pissed if Casey Hudson withheld all these Miranda information because he wanted to surprise Miri fans or would that just be plain 'WTF'?? Just a thought.

I doubt he would do that, but everything that can raise my hopes is welcome.

How many more times does Casey have to tweet that she'll be back before people accept that you know, she'll be back (unless you killed her)? I mean, seriously...

Now, all I have to worry about is whether Yvonne is continuing to voice her or not...

I liked Miranda and thought she was a great character. If she doesn't return I'll be disappointed. You gotta think she will though because if you romanced her and got here out of cerbs you would think she'd tag along.

Yes, she will be back. We know that.
Wrex also was back in ME2, Ash and Kaidan too ... <_<

It's how she will be back that worry us.

And yes I'm also worry about her VA. I hope Yvonne will come back too.

this isnt the fan group for it but i still have to say if garrus is in me3 and i know he is im already ok with what happens to the other characters but that doesnt mean i dont want to see miranda or anything like that im a huge fan of miranda but still garrus is and always will be the coolest dude around and miranda is the best woman around so if both become Ps everyone else are just third wheels to me and i have notice i dont type this much so it must be an important topic to me

Do you know what would be awesome? If she was with the surviving members of Lazarus Cell and they were planning a dangerous operation against Cerberus. One of them then tells Miranda they'd follow her into hell because she got them through the first time.

That would be a great call back to her insecurity when she says she doesn't have the fire to make someone follow her into hell.

that would be really interesting but i going of topic again when i say this but what if they do another virmire surviver thing but it depends on who you brought with you and it would be impossible to decide between saving garrus or miranda i would just say screw it your both just going to die because i can choose

This is something that came up elsewhere:

It could be argued that Miranda has a greater potential out of Shepard's team. In Shepard's team, she'll never be more than a follower. A competetent one, but still a follower. Some of use - including me - would like her to have an impact on the main plot independently from Shepard. For instance, I'll take up jtav's suggestion: some time after we meet her and help her out in one of her self-appointed missions, she'll leave Shepard again (not without a nice romance scene if you romanced her) to collect the remaining members of the Lazarus cell and proceeds to unseat TIM or whoever was responsible for Cerberus working with the Reapers. Being successful, she'll take over and turn Cerberus resources to fighting the Reapers. Depending on whether we kept or destroyed the Collector base, she'll come back to Shepard near the endgame and presents him either with added conventional firepower or a nanotech suspension that protects against indoctrination.

If I think about it, I would actually prefer this scenario to having her permanently on the team. It would stilll be possible that we get several missions with her, but at the end she'll go to make her own contribution to the war before we meet her again in the end.

What do you think of this?

I'd be fine with this, if we have the possibility to talk with her when we'll met her (in a deeper way than the ME2 encounter with Wrex, VS and Liara), in which we can eventually talk about the relationship with her, if we have one.

I like it
But not facing TIM (as Shepard) in ME3 seems wrong to me.  So much time and effort was put into that character to not be able to see his end (or supposed end).

Two little additions to the proposed scenario:

(1) Of course "enough interaction with Miranda" is an absolute must. If we get something akin to that scenario, interaction would have to be concentrated in the time period she is with Shepard.

(2) It could also be possible that we could make a decision about where Miranda will be going: either you'll have her on the team for the rest of the game, or you let her do her own thing and she'll come back with a bang for the endgame.

@BP20125810:
If she resigned in ME2, she won't be working for Cerberus. If she didn't, we don't know, but I cannot imagine she'll follow Cerberus on their new path of hunting Shepard. Most likely she'll be a free agent when we meet her.

I'm going to ask the moderators to merge this thread into the new Miranda in ME3 support and discussion thread. Any objections?

I don't mind having Miranda back in the squad but the chance is very slim. I mean new ashly looks very much like miranda. maybe if ash is dead in your playthrough?

Ashley is different class and has no connection to Cerberus. So, I would not compare them much just based looks. There is more in every squad members than LI. They present different skills, races and connections.
