Well we know Cerberus have mind control chips, what If Miranda has been implanted with one of them? We've seen the concept art for a Cerberus assassin breaking in to Shepards quarters, what if its Miranda? It certainly would be a big F You from TIM to Shep
You mean the screenshot in GameInformer's cover story?? how do we even know that's Shepard's quarters??
Though your assumption is quite plausible, cuz according to Casey she's not "okay".

Exactly, I'm not asking that Miranda be treated differently then the other Love Interests. I just want to have the same amount of interaction with Miranda, as everyone else gets with their desired Love Interest.Yannkee wrote...

I don't want deeper relationships only for characters like Garrus, Tali, Liara, or Kaidan ... Miranda fans also deserve to have this in ME3.
When i'm fighting against the reapers, i want her by my side. When i'm considering possible allies, i want her opinion. When i've just finished a mission, i want to be able to talk to her and find out how she is. <3
I agree.
All of the above.
I wish there was a way for us to tell Bioware our concerns
I think they are aware that many fans would like to have a confirmation that she will be a squadmate.
I fear we'll have to wait much longer to have a response.

Some suggested in another thread that they probably have a few more marketing campaigns in mind and are saving further info for them

Patient. Bah. They've revealed Liara, who was in 1.5 games, and Garrus and Tali who were already in two games. But no Miranda. I can't find words to express my disappointment with E3. My anticipation of ME3 has taken a serious hit with this non-information, in spite of all the interesting things revealed.
Same here. I have been waiting for weeks for Casey to drop us at least a hint on Miranda's status, but all we got were two gameplay demos. I really hope they don't give her the Garrus treatment, meaning they don't reveal her status until about a month or two from launch.

I am afraid we won't be told Miranda's status for months. Normally after E3 the news cycle slows down, so we might not learn anything new until BW ramps up their marketing push later this year.
BTW, nice profile pic Yannkee!

I seriuosly doubt we won't get Miranda as a huge role character. She was a important key character in Mass Effect 2 and now doing her as a cameo (talking about Horizon event) in Mass Effect 3, where every case should be closed, would be stupid. I want her to be confirmed, but i'm not going nuts about it, because I'm confident she will have a huge role in this chapter.
I doubt any character would get the Horizon treatment, but if a character like Miranda is reduced to a cameo or just one temp mission then I'll be very disappointed, they're really focusing on ME1 squadmates this time and I don't like it, don't get me wrong, I like Garrus and Kaiden, but I don't get along very well with Liara and Tali, especially the former... and as of now looks I'll be going with an all male squad of James Vega and Garrus.

Jacob I'm guessing will be back with the Alliance as well -- re-enlisting so he might be on the Normandy in some capacity.
I just want to know if Rupert will be in the crew. I'll miss his calamari gumbo, but I guess we'll be back to military rations.
Liara, Kaiden, Jacob for the LIs.

Shepard and Miranda already saved Oriana in ME2. So if she resigned from Cerberus I'm certain she'd have enough sense to tie that loose end up before things with TIM got ugly. If she does smuggle Oriana off world again it should be off screen, and before the Reaper invasion.

Maybe she'll be indoctrinated so we have to choose if we would kill her or save her and that would decide how much she would appear later on in the game. You know with these much branching storylines and provided every character will have a huge role, I'm betting this game will have 3 CDs for the Xbox 360 lol

Wonder what was so important about her to have soooo much plot armor that I had to lose more than half my team to get rid of her?
I wonder who will take her place in ME3 for that role?

Do people really want Oriana back that much? It seems like every other post she's brought up. No offense to those to who think otherwise but it'd be weak writing IMO.

I don't want to assume but I'm guessing mostly Miranda fans want Oriana to make an appearance. Because really there's no reason for her too. We already have enough divas aboard the crew.....

So, having said that, I'm putting my money on Miranda helping you confront the Illusive man. She knows his location (she's in the same room with him at the beginning of ME2 after all) and I'd imagine she will be the one to help you deal with him and Cerberus. I'd say it's very likely the Illusive man has a bigger role than just working behind the scenes directing the troops.

Don't know if it's been posted already but at the live chat yesterday someone asked if Miranda will be back. Jesse didn't give away any spoilers but he said something along the lines that Miranda will be back, and that the extent her role in the game will depend on the actions you took in ME2. So there you go, pretty clear if you ask me - she can be dead, have a minor role or be a LI with a major role depending on how you treated her in ME2. It caters to everyone, from fans to haters and anything in between.
Edit: found the link fo the actual footage
www.youtube.com/watch 8.02 - 8.32
I forsee a Horizon scene here how sad, lets hope its longer then those 90 sec's Ashley has in ME2 even if you helped whit her sister or not, but it may allso be a LoTS quest line so we get her as a temp. squadmate and a LI scene (if romanced in ME2) after the quest is done.
Edit:

Can Miranda die as a result of a successful suicide mission? I forget. If not, then there is a very good chance of her returning...
I do think she can die if you pick her to stay behind whit the rest of the squad members and more then half of them (and herself) are unloyal, but I'm not sure.
