Sure why not? - but I ain't gonna use it. You can wipe out an entire squad in about the same time as saying "Garrus, get cover" :)

it's a non-issue, all PCs have headsets and mics,
and biggest issue, V-RCG, is already solved

what about support for PSEYE, it has a mic on it just like Kinect, i hope voice recognition is going to be a feature across the board.

It is definitely possible, but I would not be surprised if voice recognition was exclusive to X-Box + Kinect.

While I don't think it will save any time or energy (it's just as easy to click a button), it will be nice to tell the squad exactly what I think of them after they've gotten themselves killed several times and wasted yet more of my precious medi-gel. Assuming that ME3 still has some AI issues, that is.

Oh god no thanks I much prefer using the keyboard to issue commands to my squad rather than yelling at the TV and as for choosing what Shep says via voice commands again NO THANKS.

Only brainwave controls would be faster than the keyboard+mouse combo.

After seeing the demonstration, I got only one word: WANT!

Not because it's effective, but simply for the immersion.

I'd never get a console for shooter'ish gameplay though. Too attached to mouse & keyboard. So yeah, please for PC? Pretty pretty please with icing and  a cherry on top?

Depends on whether they have the right commands. Some would be useful, like:
"Jack, stop dying"
"Miranda, STFU"
"Garrus, compliment my last shot"
"Jacob, cut the attitude"
"Mordin, stop worrying about what's flammable and just do it already"
etc.

On second thought, cursing squadmates when they screw up might be fun. At least you've the idea they might hear you :)

It wouldn't have to be a required feature; just an optional one. Make it happen BioWare.

I'm gonna love when people start complaining about chossing the wrong option or not having the lines recongnized properly...I remember playing tom clancy's endwar and I had some terrible experinces.Of course If they can guarantee that it'll work 100% then it would be great but I haven't seen that in a game yet...

Right because so far they've clearly shown that it is the only way you will be able to issue commands to your squad...
/sarcasm

If you think that, then you clearly are lacking intelligence.

Personally I would like the option to be there for both the PC and PS3 as well, I don't understand why they are claiming it's a 'Kinect' thing since all we've seen so far is just voice recognition stuff. Last I recall all 3 systems have this just using normal microphones/headsets.

I think that Microsoft will prevent Bioware from adding voice recognition support to the PC. They have plans for Windows Kinect.

Is the kinect microphone any better than a standard PC microphone?

No, but Microsoft and the Bioware PR will try to spin it that way

You know saying that they are putting it on the Xbox just because it has kinect is basically false advertising.

I want to know if I can use my headset, using kinect for voice commands seems pretty pointless when most of us have a perfectly good headset for our 360's.
