Basedon what's seen on the official site, it's obvious that the INcisor, Phalanx, Locust and Eviscerator are now only going to be available to players who want the CE. Lame.

Also, wasn't there supposed to be a better version of the CE wiht an item similar to the COD night vison goggles? Will there be an even more expensive version made?

Also, is that Kaiden or Vega who's shows in an alternate costume?

They're probably new weapons. Probably won't be exclusive forever.
This edition is pretty insane and I think this is the definitive, as it says.
And yes, that's James Vega, Priestly confirmed.

Er what? Those are different weapons. Same meshes, different skins.

Um, based on the way ME2 went, CE buyers might start out with some extra weapons, but those will quickly find their way into regular players' hands.. possibly for free, even.

They're obviously reskinned models. Those aren't the same guns from ME2. Same gun models yes, but probably different stats to go along with the new texture.

Hopefully. I'd hate to lose weapons I used in ME2 if I don't buy the SE.

You are sadly correct. I wanted a full-size reaper :(

Yes the Insisor- not in the collectors edition
The phalanx-not in the collectors edition
The Locust-not in the collectors edition
and the evisorator that are not in the collectors edition are exclusive to the collectors edition.

All the in-game stuff at E-3 shows Shepard with a Mattock and they've said weapons will carry over to ME3. If for some reason you think these weapons will just be carbon copies which I seriously doubt then pick up the appropriate weapons and packs in ME2 and carry them over.

Good to know that I won't be paying for weapons that Shep already uses.
