Does anyone know of a way to change the intensity of the "set fog" action through time smoothly in the CS Editor? (other than setting "points of change")

I don't know if I have ever set fog in a cutscene before as bizarre as that sounds. Just playing around a bit it I can't find a way to do it without setting points. The easiest way would be to just copy your original settings and paste them along your time line and make small changes as you go. Kind of a pain in the butt.
You may alos be able to make bigger jumps in the fog setting by making a bigger change when you switch cameras (as that way it probably won't be as jarring.)

Yea though the thing is the scene is a one camera first person POV scene. Can't switch cameras in this particular case.
What I ended up doing is during a particular place where it could be least felt (a closeup where the fog is less apparent) I made the switch for when the shot becomes a medium to wide angle, where I needed the intensity change to have the most effect.
Thanks though BF:)

Not entirely the same thing, but you can to a degree simulate effect of the fog with the hsvmatrix post effect (lower the contrast, increase the brightness, dial down the saturation a bit) It's not good enough on its own, but it can be used to enhance the apparent "strength" of regular fog, and you can control the parameters through the curve editor, i believe.

Oh boy, what an excellent idea tmp! Definitely an option I will play with in the future. I hadn't tried out all the camera effects just yet so now hsvmatrix has taken on new meaning
Thank you.
Edit: just played with it for another scene, so happens I can simulate night with it as well. One of the more common settings I play with in photoshop is the brightness/contrast/saturation settings, so this is perfect!

Eh? What is this matrix setting ya'll speak of? Where do I find it?
(There are fog fx's as well that a person might be able to use as well in some situations.)
Edit: Okay I found the matrix thing right under my nose.
