When Shepard calls in the Normandy (right before he gets chased by the reaper) isn't that Miranda talking after Joker? Sounds just like her, and I doubt its Ashely's voice...

I assume it's EDI with a placeholder voice.

that's what my first thought was, but the way she said some words hinted at Miranda's accent.

It was EDI. Sounded like Tricia Helfer to me. Helfer has done recording for ME3 already (according to her Twitter) so it makes sense that its her.

It's Helfer, I think they're going for a more natural sound. That or they haven't put the effects on yet.

Legion/Mordin/EDi all were the same voice actor but didn't quite fit their me2 sounds.

Likely the voice director hasn't finalized the lines yet for those chrs.

Actually Mordin wasn't Michael Beattie in the E3 footage, it was Mark Meer filling in.

That was without a shadow of a doubt Tricia Helfer's voice (especially since she confirmed quite a few weeks ago she finished most of her VO work for ME3).

Really? Cool, cus he actually did a good Salarian voice... it just wasn't Mordin is all.

Still, he should voice another Salarian in game, he did a good job all things considered with Mordin.

I am beginning to think Mr.Meer likes having in game conversations with himself.

maybe since the events of mass effect 2 EDi has become slightly more human like, possibly due to upgrades from the alliance or possibly natural evolution in behavior since she is an AI and has been seen joking with Jeff in the last game. maybe the relization that AI can be more than just machines or tools but a person with feelings u can care about will be a part of the story.

Really? Because, while I could tell that it wasn't Mordins ME2 VA, it felt good enough that, if that had always been his voice, I would have accepted it. Perhaps in Bioware's next game after ME/DA3, they should have him do all the male voices.

:P
