Female turians were in Evolution(which contrary to the opinions of some forum goers would've been based off of official artwork forwarded by Bioware and then interpreted to fit with the other elements in the comics. I'd say since Bioware has not only made the artwork, but also decided to make it official by releasing it through a canon source they have a better chance than most to appear in ME3.
