[Edit] Start with just the CC for sure...

I didnt think to check the scripting or toolset sections for tutorial lists, so if they don't have them, it might be a good idea to start similar threads there too and just post them there.)

What to you think, should hak packs be covered under custom content or builder/toolset?

(I think they are technicly custom content, seems more questions about them are posted in the CC section at least...)

What is left of above suggestions should now be only CC ones, the rest have been moved to the new threads...

I posted this thread too under "See Also:" at the end of the lists (along with each other), so feel free to do same with new lists if you wish :)

Was any tutorials made around a hak updater? Or have any utilities been created to do such a task?

I know for the 1.69 patch Brian Chung had developed a tool with Rsync, winzip and maybe some other tools. I'm interested if anything has been developed, or it's just something I have to start from scratch again.

I use WorldGate v1.8. (Took me a few weeks to figure out how to make it work the way i wanted, but all the players LOVE it)

I was not aware of the server custom content downloader / updater.

Thanks Daijin. Worldgate is precisely what I'm looking at. For large haks, it's very frustrating for players (especially those with limited bandwidth) to have to download a few hundred megabytes again, because one 2da file got messed up. The other doesn't seem to handle container files, and WorldGate seems to have superior documentation.

I think Baba Yaga's/Bannor's Using Animesh and UVW_Xform to paint a scrolling texture tutorial would be nice in the Texture section :-)
