Having been critical of Bioware as of late following the....incredible disappointment that was DA2, I was eager to see what was going to be shown today at E3. Whilst my opinion means very little on the interweb, and I still very much believe EA are, well, not a very pleasant bunch to say the least, I remain cautious, yet very much intrigued by what I saw.

I do agree with those expressing concern over the RPG elements (or potential lack thereof) in the final game, and I hope for everyone's sake that they are totally unjustified. Judging from the "Appearance Pack" in the CE there is going to be no armor pickups to change your squadmates as you see fit again either which will be my biggest irritation, but I have found from what I have seen so far to meet with the expectations and my humble request for ME3 to take Shep's story out with a rather large bang. 

I still don't understand TIM turning on us and I very much await an explanation to this, unless Miranda was his wife and by showing her Sheps galactic sized third leg TIM found out and now wants Shep to burn in the fires of Haestrom (unless you romanced Tali or Jack, it must have been how Shep looked at Miranda's ass) and I am curious about the omni stick thing as it was unusal and, for the moment, can't see what use that will truely be for my Soldier Shep but it is an interesting choice to go with the omni tool as a weapon. I looked at it as somewhat of a Star Trek tricorder than a weapon but adapt I shall.

But perhaps most suprising was the Kinect demo. I have no interest of moving off of my backside when I play a videogame, hence I do not own Kinect. I work, come home to relax and sit down and goggle eye myself with some good story and pop pop action. But its implementation was not what I was expecting.  I actually genuinly hope to see more of that in action.

Remaining cautious, but nevertheless intrigued and still excited.
