I just emailed Casey and asked if it would be ok if I revealed to you all who lives or dies in Mass Effect 3.
He said: "No".

I suppose. I mean its sucks but i think he'll die thereRyzaki wrote...
Anders is described as the mentor. That pretty much ensures his death.

He's dead as disco. Probably gets shot just as the hatch is closing on the Normandy.
Anderson: *coughs blood* Shepard...I...I'm sorry, I tried...to warn them. *croaks*
Shepard: NOOOOOOOO!

Not necessarily; I expect you'll have the option to either spare him or murder onni-tool him to death.

He'd better not. Unless the opening is even more grandiose than what we saw, Anderson deserves at least one more badass moment in-game after all he went through in the novels.

It kinda looked like he didn't make it onto the Normandy...It'd be cool if we have to abandon Anderson after the opening scene, and then meet up with him later when we return to Earth for the final battle.
I agree there is too little evidence to support he's dead yet. But if he dies i will shed many man teartssheppard7 wrote...
I just found the part 2 of the demo. It ends and there's really no clear cut "he's dead, jim" there. Anderson could even make it to the Normandy. Only thing though wasn't the SR-2 supposed to be a lot bigger thus not landing on planets in ME2? Yet the demo showed it flying right in there to rescue Shep and possibly Anderson too.
It might have been better suited to have the Hammerhead dropping in there to the rescue just from story standpoint even though it's not as recognizable as the Normandy.

To me that means that GI looked at the entire tutorial and instead of having the "Jenkins" and Anderson ready on time they simply extended Anderson's scene. I'm hoping that we probably already had our Jenkins (please oh please let it be Udina) and this is the latter part of the tutorialTexasToast712 wrote...
I remember in the GameInformer article they said Anderson in your squad was a placeholder.
