EDIT: You know what. I'm happy there's no uber edition. I can't afford that kind of luxury and the CE as it is seems pretty awesome. Thanks for telling us, Jarrett.

As far as i am concerned you guys have done right with the n7 edition its a bit sad that there wont be an uber edition, but i think this is fine

i dont like collector editions at all so i odnt mind.

hell its annoying collector editions get exclusive game content. it should be all exterior stuff like sound tracks, and trinkets and stuff. not in game weapons and stuff, thats kinda BS imo.

i am very disappointed that there's no "uber" edition, as promised - all the other major series have had one: halo, gears etc. if BW want to play on the top-tier field, they really need to compete, and whilst lithos etc. are nice, they are standalone products, not bundled statues/diaoramas etc. and the jokey CE content - artbook aside (the cover image is amazing) - robot dog?! does the game no favours.

Thanks for this Jarrett.  I was a bit bummed the collectors edition wasn't what I was hoping for, but cheers for the heads up. (Its still pretty awesome though!)

I've seen people curious about where the Uber edition is, any chance of getting that mentioned in the OP of the official collectors edition post?

I don't know why some people actually have a problem with this collection, even if it's not all. This edition comes with so many goodies, I'd settle for just this. Alternate squad designs, new weapons, a new squadmate, an N7 hoodie for Shepard, a new mission and so on.

Really, there are some neat stuff in this. If there's even more coming, we will need more cleaners to clear up the fangasm.

I like CE's that offer enough bang for your buck but don't force you to give up over double the original price of the game. Anything over $120, and I usually just buy the regular version of the game and a second game to fill the void when I'm done.

I'd be fine with a bunch of DLC for a collector's Edition. Either way, people would b**** their a** off because of the huge price for the ultimate edition. At least the collector's edition comes with all the cool shiz and is in a suitable price range.

Please don't let this be so. There is a huge Mass Effect fan base who would want an "Uber" edition. The Mass Effect franchise is huge and definitely deserves a set on par or preferably bigger then something like the Gears of War 3 Epic Edition. I know many other people, myself included who would be willing to pay whatever the Uber Edition may cost. True Mass Effect fans are die hard fans, they are the people who know the histories of every character and race. If you make it, they will buy.

That's silly. It's not ungrateful to inquire about the "uber" edition idea that has been getting tossed around the forums for over seven months. We wanted to know if there is something bigger and more expensive coming out so we can save our pre-orders for that, or if we should go ahead and pre-order this edition.

Thank you very much for the clarification Jarret. I very much appreciate the effort you and your colleagues have and currently are putting into ME3.

Also my wallet thanks you, as I would have spent money I likely wouldn't have had for an uber edition.
