Where are the other pieces of his work? This one really impressed me, but I didn't notice the other... mostly music I heard were ME1's and ME2's soundtracks.

A lot of Dave Aronofsky's films like....Black Swan, Requim for a Dream, and The Fountain.

.
I know, I watched all of these... actually I watched Moon mostly to listen to his soundtrack.
.
I was meaning in ME3 demos. =]

So emotional, I really felt bad for Earth. Everyone really is dying horribly. It was a truly awesome moment.

He tends to use piano and strings in combination so if that scene is a sign of a string and piano heavy soundtrack sign me up. Sign me up right NOW! Posted Image

Seeing that kid put things in perspective, I almost forgot about kids.

On earth.

Being killed.

I know. The whole dying kids never struck me EVER while I played the ME games, but this was...mind blowing.

Not only that, the piece in the Mordin segment was so cool and immersive it got into my head. He totally nailed ME style of music. I have full faith in his work now.

Thats not Clint's work. Thats the soundtrack from Arrival.

Not everyone was wearing a catsuit.

Thus it is a bad scene and Bioware needs to get their prorities straight.

That whole scene was really well done and something I didn't think we get to see. I also think Clint Mansell was a perfect pick for ME3 as well. Not to mention his work on Moon proves the man can do Sci-Fi.

Hmm I didn't notice. So that's probably a good sign. More interested in what the combat themes will turn out like though, since those are what set a lot of the mood for the game.

Say what? the combat music is always the most generic and boring. its either the emotional, touching scenes or the kick-ass hero saves the day themes that stick with everyone; see Spectre Induction, Suicide MIssion, Normandy Reborn, Vigil... etc.

I mean I didn't notice in that it felt-out-of-place. That's good. It fit the scene as it should. If an artist (be it musical or otherwise) does a good job you shouldn't notice.

As for Combat Music...

Thane's Theme

I like the big moment themes too, but you don't hear those more then 30 seconds at a time usually. The general themes need to be good too. I have no doubt Clint do those touching moments very well, but I don't want a bunch of melodramatic combat themes.

I personally cannot wait for a chance to ignore that kid. Though it seems as though they might railroad you into checking it out...and the renegade option is still trying to tell him to get out of the vents. Blech.

Wait. I thought the demo music were placeholder music from ME2 and DLCs... I'm confused.

Yeah, me too.

There was the Normandy reborn at the end of the Fall of Earth, and Saren/Uplink during the Reaper tank shooting demo.

Hello guys? There was no new music. The demos had music from arrival and mass effect 1. On the Quarian Homeworld demo with the Spider reaper, we got the music tracks "Final Assault" from ME1. The Demo with the Korgan gal used Arrival music. When the Normandy lands in the Earth demo that is "Normandy Reborn" from ME2. There's no new music at all, except for that one scene with the kid.

I just hope they keep the ME2 music in like the Normandy theme. Got that shiver when the Normandy showed up and the theme went on.
