I just got to the final battle area and selected shale to join my party... who I have used in my main party through the course of the game!  Now all his talents are broken.  They have no descriptions of any kind of the spell menu and they don't function in battle... Only the Golem talents... the warrior talents still work...

I had no problem up until now, and given that Shale is now part of my final attack group and cannot be removed from the party. I am stuck with a useless character as I cannot activate any of Shale's stances now... How can I fix this!?!?
