Edit: I'd hate to get all personal and such but please don't reply with posts soley with the purpose of degrading the OP. Try to understand where he/she is coming from.

Where he's coming from? I'm sorry, I know you have good intentions. But he isn't buying the game because of graphics, or story, or gameplay. He specifically said he isn't purchasing it because he didn't like the character design of ONE character in ONE screenshot and TWO seconds of footage. That is herp-derp if there ever was one

You sound just like the haters that promoted Isabella and Miranda and said that their leaked costumes weren't the final outfit.

You were wrong than and you're wrong now.

I'm sick of Bioware screwing over their fans in the hopes that they'll get the haters to stop hateing.

Wow. You know the type of person I am by one comment? I wasn't promoting anyone, I was merely stating you were acting like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum.

I didn't realize that optimism (or basic common sense) made one a hater.
Hmmm...

@OneLifeCrisis: No didn't intentionally misunderstand you. You do know that women 1. Change. 2. Have various facets of their personality, right? Do you know any women? Honest question. And who are you to say what a character that you didn't create would, or would not do? The story of ME focused on Ash for how long?

I can't tell if people are serious anymore. Some of this is just so over-the-top crazy.

Midget aren't you in hiding after being blatantly wrong about your theory we'd get no returning squadmates after posting about it 47 million times?

My word! Are you always like this, or did you just forget your meds today?

- Yes, I know women.
- Yes, sometimes people change, though it usually takes time.
- I said IMO. That stands for "In My Opinion".

Hah, I was wondering when this thread would pop up. I didn't think it would happen until someway into E3 but the "fans" have pulled through.

Hahahahahaha~!

You sound like all those that said the same thing about Isabella and Miranda!

You were wrong than and you're wrong now! When will you learn not to be so wrong? This is New Bioware. Sexism is okay in their eyes.

Sexism?  Like judging a woman based solely on the way she dresses?  So your favourite character can no longer be the same tough, capable woman she was before because she doesn't dress the way YOU think she should?  I'd be careful of throwing around words like 'sexism' while displaying that type of attitude toward women (yes, even pixellated ones  ^_^).

OP: how many threads do you need to complain in? There's already a thread about Ashley's look that you're moaning in that was open hours before you made this one, was it worth making another? For some reason you're taking this extra personally, good for you, just keep it in one thread.

No, I've been busy doing stuff in RL. I don't spend my time here and in fact I haven't been here for... It's been awhile.

Whatever the case, I didn't post it 47 million times and I was mostly right.

Tali and Garrus are returning, despite how unfair it is to ME2 fans, and ME2 characters aren't.

Because this Topic isn't just about Ashley but the state that Bioware has fallen to.

No she can't.

ME1/ME2 Ashley ould NEVER change their beliefs and wear what she hated most.

This isn't Ashley. Changeing her into this... Abomination is an insultto her backstory and the time players had with her in previous ME games.

That's why you made yet another thread, I guess?

*sigh*

I reported the second thread you made, should probably report this one too since there's still the other Ashley thread that was made earlier..

Strawman has a point.

About Ashley anyway. Her current outfit is insulting to put it politely.

I'm not sure strawman has a point. Both Shepard and Anderson are not in armor during the sequence we see them fighting on earth. Second, I didn't notice any heels on Ashley's suit when she did show up and third he's already been proven wrong about returning squadmates, which is why he changed his statement to 'no returning ME 2 squadmates' which isn't accurate as we've already seen Legion and Mordin playing a role in two seperate missions.

if his goal is to complain about Ashes look, then he'll have to give post a full body shot or give a link to one.

If his goal is to complain about how far Bioware has sunk he's got even more of an uphill battle considering the improvements we've already seen and the ones they've talked about.

@OneLifeCrisis: Stop with the theatrics. They're just designed to distract people from the fact that you don't know what in the **** you're talking about.

The great thing about opinions is that even though you're entitled to one, you can still be dead wrong. IMO, if you knew any "real women" you would type what you type.

ME2 had Miranda and Jacob in "tight" clothing, showing off some features. ME3 likely has Ashley and probably some male companion in equally tight fittings to create a sexsymbol for others...So what? I'm not offended by either and it doesn't really matter in the end as long as the story, narrative, gameplay, rpg-elements and combat lives up to the title. A few design choices like "holographic helmets" and "exposed skin" in space are irrelevant, cause honestly...If a holographic blade can kill, a holographic spacesuit can probably protect you.
