no. thats stupid and based too much off a single choice for them to make such a significant effect on the game. it wasnt even a super major choice in the first game.

maybe they'll help you take down a single reaper on a specific planet or something, aside from that i dont expect anything super major from them since it'd screw peopelt hat killed it over.

I don't think it will singlehandedly change the game, but I think that having species on your side will better your chances of achieving ___________________, just like having a loyal squad helped in ME2.

choices shouldnt be "right and wrong choice" it should just be different. then once everyone finds out saving the rachni turns out peaches and cream then EVERYONE ALWAYS saves the rachni queen. kidna ruins it.

well exactly, it should help in a single situational moment, or maybe even cause problems rather than helping.

why reward only paragons and punish renegades? why not have this choice backfire on the paragons?

Hopefully it will be somewhat like DA:O. Making the "renegade" choices still gave you an army for the final battle, it just changed the make up of your army.

Can you punish me for another decision? I kinda like the Rachni, and would rather not have them turn on me. :P

I agree with this one wholeheartedly. Some choices obviously have a negative effect on Renegade or Neutral players, might as well have the "right" way backfire.  (This did kind of happen once, while reqruiting Samara.) Though from what I've seen of the Renegade side, the outcomes remain pretty much the same, except different dialog or actions taken.

I figure that since it seems that the rachni have been indoctrinated before, that it would only make sense that they could be again. Or were "reborn" already indoctrinated.

Not a Super major choice? On that choice you do get punished no matter what. if you save her and bring back the rachni you get in **** from the councle and if you kill her you also get in **** for killing her and sending them back into extinction. as far as i know it was mandatory and you could not finish the mission otherwise (please corect me if i am wrong).

Plus you are prob going to go to the queen, be like "hey remember way back when you said you owe me a faver? well now its time to pay up!" and they come and help you in the end.

So you think that running around, acting like a prat, and killing potential allies should earn you some form of reward? Next you'll be complaining that killing Wrex on Virmire, and destroying the genophage cure, is punishing renegades by making it harder to get the Krogans to fight under Sheps banner, when instead they are more interested in fighting their own battles for their own home planet.
