Doubtful.

I think it will replace the old boards over time. Having a separate board for each game must be a pain.

I would hope that BioWare (EA?) retains only one... What's the point of having two forums?

Yes, I'm wondering how long the transition is. As for now, I'll have to keep up two windows now just so I don't miss any pertinent DA:O news. I'm assuming until the game comes out November 3rd I'll still have to cruise over to the "old" DAO forum site for information.

It will be interesting to see where they plan to go from here with this site and their original one.

I want to keep the old one. I like that a lot more. And people are used to it anyways.

At the moment, the older one is nicer. Give it a few months and this might be just as good.Mistress9Nine wrote...

This is mainly for the social network, there was a disclaimer saying that at the top of the forum if you looked

Probably on release. Remember Bio closes pre-release forums... This is probably the replacement.

maybe they'll keep both up, or they'll merge into one forum over time?

I can't say I'm all that bothered if they both stay open. But if I had to pick one I would run with the social site, it's on the right track!

I'm pretty sure it is not a replacement in any way. This is like Facebook for Dragon Age. Yeah.

I rather like how these forums are integrated into the social site. After spending years and years on the other bioware forums I'm certainly much more used to them.

The quote thing is annoying. Other than that I like this site about as much as the other one.

I sincerely doubt they'd go through all the trouble of creating this site if they intended to keep up the old one for long.
