The only thing I have to complain about is the trailer music

It was god awful compared to the song they used for the ME2 E3 trailer.

Does anyone know what the song was that was used in the trailer?

I agree that the choice of music was a mistake. Heavy metal music is one thing that shouldn't be played anywhere, and particularly not in Mass Effect. In saying that, in game music has been just brilliant.

For the trailer I felt the music matched, for the Mass Effect Universe I felt it was out of place. But music in-game so far fits perfectly.

I totally disagree. The epic metal of the trailer made me go outside and set a tree on fire.

All reapers will suffer the same fate.

It just makes me think of the Dead Space marketing EA put out. God that was a mistake.

I just can't wait to hear what Clint Mansell has in store for us. He's obviously nowhere near done yet since none of it was shown at E3...

actually I think I heard a little bit of what Clint Mansell has in store during the scene with the child. If you listen carefully you'll hear a piano scored in the background with a bell instrument. I haven't heard it from any of the other games.

E3 2010 trailer was freakin awesome. 2011 wasn't bad. I liked how the EA and bioware logo was used in the omni blade. Music was so so.

I liked that music, it fit it well, the fast paced style. I wouldnt want it in game but I know clint mansell and I am very happy with his previous works plus I cant see him screwing it up.

I agree rock music didn't sound right with Mass Effect.

And this is coming from a rock/metal fan.

Reminds me of the Marilyn Manson DA:O trailers. Now THAT was unfitting. I didn't mind this nearly as much, but yeah, would rather have heard an original score from the actual game.

Yeah, that was very odd. And I'm something of a fan of early Manson, even. But that doesn't mean I want to hear him in my Dragon Age.

I think this trailer is just a placeholder for E3 to show off gameplay. It wasn't good but I'm sure the launch trailer a month away from launch will be what we're looking for.
