Yah I am pretty sure, as others pointed out, its just music for that trailer not the game, but if anyone knows if that song exists elsewhere or was just made for the trailer, that would be keen.

This is weird. I was JUST searching youtube for the answer to this and, wouldn't you know it, there's a thread with other people doing the same.

I'm STILL upset the awesome trailer music from ME2 was never made available, anywhere (the one that sounds like "The Whole World Went Away" from Nine Inch Nails)... I wonder if this will be the case again.

I wish they made their trailer more artistic a la AC: Revelations.

Sounded like generic electric guitar I can think of 100 songs it could be a part of.

Searching as well. Too bad they didn't commission Two Steps From Hell again. :(

It's from the Matrix films. Lemme find it...

Edit: Well, it's not *exactly* the same, but listen to this from about 00:35 and compare it to the trailer from about 00:45.

I'm bumping this as well, really interested in the trailer music. Can't Bioware comment on this?

Knowing Bioware you will never hear it again let alone have a sample. It happened both in ME2 and DA2.

Maybe because it's the EA folk who do the trailers and other marketing stuff... but surely it won't be hard for all the Bioware developers lurking around here to pull a few strings and at least inform us that the track is/isn't publicly available?

And now ME2's e3 trailer music is in the newest Assassins Creed and nobody seems to know where does it comes from.
I hope BioWare reveals at least some details about those songs. My best bet is that they could be songs, or parts of songs from Brand X music, Two steps from hell, or other studios of the like that specialize in music for trailers, I dont know exactly :(

I suspect that it might be something made by a studio for trailers, Les. I think you are right. Still it would be nice to find the entire song, assume there is one, because it was pretty badass. I've searched high and low with no luck.

This is quite likely.Just like for instance Two Steps from Hell made the music that was used in ME2's launchtrailer (Heart of Courage).

With the difference that digging up that track was a piece of cake.

Doesn't work for me. Says that "This video contains content from SME, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds." Shame, really.

Another difference being that Two Steps from Hell is one of the trailer music studios that releases it's work as albums. Not that many of them do that.

LGTX, try this one:

Wake up, by Rage Against the Machine. The ME3 trailer is using a remix or sample of it this I think.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Now if only BioWare could release the MP3...
