Hey - hands off Jack! An endgame romanced Jack is nothing like the character on Purgatory. It seems to me she has the most potential for character development out of all the LIs - not that I'm biased or anything. Back to Miranda there are possible plot developments with her sister and father that may surface in ME3.

Well she did have a "story" shield in ME2 so it is quite likely she is very important in ME3.

That's one of the points that really confused me in ME2. With all other characters it can be very easy to get somebody killed by making a wrong choice, but with Miranda you really have to put some effort in it. And I'm not sure if it's possible to get Miranda killed and survive yourself...I've never seen videos with her dead and Shepard surviving. But ususally those are the "get everybody killed"-vids.

I agree Phoenix. While I agree that Miranda is a very strong women, I don't believe that she would be able to take out Kai Lang on her own.

Quite frankly, I doubt even Shepard could take down Leng in a hand-to-hand fight.

We don't really know. One source says he's after Shepard and another only says Shepard will have to deal with him at some point in the game.

I know for 100% that she will pay an important role in ME3 as for a number of reasons
1. Shes one of the poster characters in ME2 which means she played a big role in the Mass Effect series and Bioware has confirmed all the big players will be back
2. She knows more about Cerberus than anyone so who else could be better to take down Cerberus as they are working with the reapers
3. She is a LI so you must be able to continue that in ME3 or else Bioware!!
4. She is a popular character in the mass effect saga so why would Bioware get rid of her?

Uhm, hello? Commander Shepard can kill everything with bare hands. He didn't use hand-to-hand combat on Sovereign and the baby reaper because he wanted to make it interesting.

Kai Lang killed 5 (or more) heavenly armed Turians with only a knife and his fists. While I hope for a epic hand to hand cutscene Shep v.s Kai I think that Kai would win if Shep doesn't work together.

Shepard is good with guns, but he isn't really a hand to hand specialist fighter.

If Shepard is able to keep a yahg busy in hand-to-hand combat, I doubt he'll need help against Kai Leng who may be good, but is still a human. As N7 operatives, they both have the same level of qualification and military training, and both have a lot of experience. It would be a long fight, but I'd bet my money on Shepard.

I believe she will try to hide Oriana from Cerberus after she quit Cerberus, TIM who knew about Oriana's location will try to manipulate Miranda by controlling her sister

Well I get the feeling that the guy they show in a few articles who is seen crashing through Shepards Skylight window on the Normandy is Kai Leng...
Considering how the Illusive Man used him to take out Grayson...

Huh that reminds me of an episode from FireFly

Anyway my point is she is no damsel in distress type of woman and not someone to wait around no matter who the enemy is...even if its Kai Leng I'm sure shes formulating a plan to get out.  That's how well they train their agents I believe

We haven't seen this in a game or book like we have with Kai Leng
As was mentioned they are both N7 Operatives therefore they both have had training in hand to hand, etc.
