Turkey's borders are fine, the line is still there, you just can't see it very clearly.

Compose yourself, Obro. Mesina is naturally predisposed to notice the issue with Kosovo and Montenegro due to geographic location, just as the first thing I noticed when I saw the map was Northern Ireland because I'm Irish. We concern ourselves most with what is closest to us. That's only natural and human - nothing fishy about it at all. I strongly suggest you edit your post, if you haven't done so already. I won't quote you so as not to repeat words like those.

God, this thread's been infected with Balkantardism. Bleah.

Looking at the countries which have accepted it's independence again, I think that it has to do with the origins of the...HUD? For example, a certain country is called FYROM by the UN, but the Americans insist on calling it ROM.

Now I can understand for not putting Kosovo. Serbia, Russia and maybe China would have ban ME3( Russia banned games for less, China banned FIFA manager once for having Tibet), but Montenegro?

Grats for missinformation
BTW, please check before you post:
1)    China. There were some instances of game banning, mostly to support their home market (check the WoW  bones controversy). I had no troubles picking up DA2 and Civilization 4 when I was living there. They are not going to ban a game for some obscure European political matter.
2)    Russia does not ban any games at all. I was living in St. Pete when MW2 came out. There was no banning; some fringy political guy said something about writing a protest letter. That was the closest (and only) incident of any game banning related activities.
3) Serbia. Not sure. Have never heard anything about game banning in Serbia. But I suppose we have Serbian forum members who can clear this out.

P.S What’s up with this Balkan thingy anyways.  Can you guys just go to some political forum and start a flame war there, please.

@Mesina2

Ok just checked your profile I thought something is fishy. Hrvat.

So what?

Why are you Croats so butthurt about everything related to us Serbs?

No we're not.
Most of don't give a damn about Serbia. Only some idiots on internet who needs to get punched in face.

I am willing to bet everything that I have that if it was something other than Kosovo and Montenegro that you wouldn't give a damn about it. But NOPE it's Serbia related you just felt obligated to point it out didn't you? You of all people.

I would like to add that I do not approve NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999.

****sm at it's finest if you ask me. And then people say Serbs are the one asking for fights.Fu*king disgusting

Why do you guys keep calling us N@zis in many arguments?

Besides don't we have right on opinion as well?
In my opinion Kosovo is independent do to their independent government and no Serbian government influence on Kosovo anymore.

And I didn't said Serbia doesn't has rights on Kosovo. Historical claims are sometimes enough.

The thought or suggestion that ANYTHING is banned in Russia is... laughable. Just about anything and everything can be purchased in Russia without fear of arrest (unless it's crooked cops who are trying to shake you down for money on trumped on charges of course).

The iron curtain fell over 20 years ago, y'know.

Games do not get banned in Serbia 'cause there's huge lack of publishers and willing distributors, tis piracy heaven lol. And tis very hard for those who actually buy their games - most publishers (like EA or Blizzard)don't have Serbia on their paying lists (well, Blizzard has it, but also only for monthly subscription - but they don't allow any of other special features nor do they ship their products to Serbia). Luckily, there's Steam and there are friends from other countries that are willing to help.

And, Obro, calm down, m8, Mesina's nationality has nothing to do with things you assumed he's saying. Mesina is truly good poster and I enjoy reading his posts almost on daily basis - so, no, m8, there's no 'I hate my neighbours' thingy in his posts nor attitude. So, just calm down :) .

Now what, screw it.

This thread went too much off-topic and political.

I'm gonna ask moderator to lock this thread.

I respect your opinion but I think you are simply wrong. To much things happened between our people to say such a thing. MAYBE you're correct but from my experience it's a slim chance.

Anyway it is not my intention to argue about this subject anymore. I just don't like when someone (anyone) casually claims that part of my country is not my country. That is all. I cant do much about it but I can argue and that's what I do. I sure as hell didn't come here to argue about politics.

As for the state of gaming in Serbia...we get raped by retailers here. The only decent option we have is Steam. And I LOVE owning a game. First game I bought was Elder Scrolls 3 GOTY edition for ....say 7$ and the second game I got is NWN for 5$. First games I bought as a kid and I loved that I actually own a copy of the game. So I buy when I can. But always pirate first : )
