Since all previous Li's seems to be permanent squad members in ME3

I don't think Thane is a squadmember... wouldn't make sense... the whole 'dying' thing would be an issue at this point, but who knows?

If we get Miranda and Jack, I'll be happy. Thane is dying and Jacobs abilities kind of sucked too much for him to be useful.

We should just limit it to Miranda, Tali, Garrus, and Jacob (shudders). Thane is dying and Jack is... well she just doesn't seem like the type to take along on this mission. No offense to Jack fans, but in regards to story potential Jack herself offers little aside from being a temp. 100% purely my opinion though

^^Me too, me too. I really have no idea how they'll manage to fit the ME2 characters into the squad (rotating cameos?) but I'd like to be able to pick our own. Take two from a 'pool' of available characters, and the others will fill the cameos spots and talk to you periodically. But even then, they did say they were trying to cut down on the size of the squad...

New plan. Everyone hangs out on the Normandy, and are assigned characters for certain missions (Garrus accompanies you to Palaven, for example)

....Ah, forget it. Just tell me who the squadmates are, Bioware. Gameplay can wait!

A kingdom hearts style temp squadmate would be fine. Can be in your active party, and are highly relevant to the plot.

Miranda and Legion it should be.

I like thane but about him dying bioware kinda already has an excuse not to have him in your squad because I think they are trying to limit the number of people on your squad.

He's definitely in the game but if that was his set role it would be awful.  There should be some circumstances that if met have resulted in a cure or, at the very least, Thane having sought a transplant to extend his life.

It's going to put a massive downer on most of my playthroughs if Thane's fate is set in stone.

I'll worship Jesus till rapture when I actually finally get to see Thane bite the dust without bs happening till then because it'll be the best thing to watch these goddamn obnoxious fans whine and **** about a character receiving a good and MEANINGFUL death and a worthwhile arc following its intented conclusion

Legion was seen in the tech demo, however he wasn't in your squad. That isn't to say you can't assign positions to squad members similarly in the ME2 Suicide Mission. I would love to have Miranda and Legion as Permenant Squad-Members.

 Why on earth does everybody want squad mates from the previous games for ME 3?

I like having a lot of squad mates from the previous games but I want to have new characters on my team, it would be just insane to have the only new person be James Vegas...

I wouldn't mind if like maybe five or six out of eight (not that we know how many we'll have in ME 3 but that sounds reasonable) were fro mthe previous games, that would be alright, but having it be like say seven to eight would just be silly. Even IF all the people from the previous games are the most elite in the Galaxy I'm still itching to get to know more characters.

Anyone agree with me here?
