Oh OK. I see. Thanks.
Is that what we're calling them then. Perms?
I thought it was "full" squad members.
(though actually that makes less sense - full of what?)
Perms it is!

Why on earth does everybody want squad mates from the previous games for ME 3?
I like having a lot of squad mates from the previous games but I want to have new characters on my team, it would be just insane to have the only new person be James Vegas...
I wouldn't mind if like maybe five or six out of eight (not that we know how many we'll have in ME 3 but that sounds reasonable) were fro mthe previous games, that would be alright, but having it be like say seven to eight would just be silly. Even IF all the people from the previous games are the most elite in the Galaxy I'm still itching to get to know more characters.
Anyone agree with me here?

Why make new characters with only a single game to develop their personalities when you can further develop already established and fleshed out characters?SkittlesKat96 wrote...

Because there are already too many and it just seems a little illogical

I don't think Thane is a squadmember... wouldn't make sense... the whole 'dying' thing would be an issue at this point, but who knows?

Jacobs abilities kind of sucked too much for him to be useful.

As someone who got through ME2 without losing the teammates I liked, It would slightly irk me if in ME3 they had ready replacements for all the ME2 squaddies that died. You lost Tali? Here's Telli! It seemed that was the whole point of ME2, if you lost squad members it was a big deal. My gut instinct for ME2 players that did lose teammates is to go back and play through again so you don't lose them. And, if you want to RP it out that your Shepard lost them, then tough it out in ME3. At least that is what my instinct says, perfectly understandable if everyone else wants to burn me at the stake.

Doesn't TIM say that he's "one of the best".

Jacob abilities are poor because Miranda stole all his skills. And Slam from Jack.
