Shepard looks kinda too big, like he's been taking steroids or something. Am I the only one that notices this?  in a sense it reminds me of the Gears of War characters, they look all big, bulky, and cartoony.  That's not really appealing to me.  but in any case I'm very excited to finally be able to end all my mass effect playthroughs.

Um... You kinda have to be ripped to do what Shepard does.

Shepard has BEEN ripped since ME1, you know he was genetically modified right?

Come with being Alliance, not too mention the whole "brought back from the dead" thing.

Yeah I didn't notice him being any different than in Mass Effect 2

His face looks a bit emaciated but everything else being ripped seems implied.

He looks the same. Most likely the camera angle is slightly different. I watched the extended Sur'Kesh demo, and the camera seemed a little off when Shepard was running

The body model is still the same, except for some new texture work (on the face and hands).

As other have said he looks no bigger than ME2. But ME3 does appear to have much better lighting and textures, meaning the detail on his arms is higher making them appear more muscular (if that's what you mean).

He's got more of a V-shaped torso. That's all.

ok maybe its just me. or the differetce in ME1 and the other two are obvious. if the character isn't bigger, it's either the armor, or the camera angle. it does seem like the cameras perspective is zoomed in closer to shepard as compared to ME1. my guess is that they gave more of an action shooter feel. Mass effect right now is my # 1 game series period. E3 has some very amazing things, but ME is what im looking forward to the most. I don't attend to complain here, just pointing out some of the differences I notice. So far I'm a bit nervous, bcuz I haven't seen any of the RPG factor and I didn't get that epic sense that ME1 gave from beginning to end. from what I've seen I can only say that it looks more streamlined, but I may be wrong. the omni blade move is too animated or too cinematic. all that is unnecessary. I don't like when the game takes over my actions, for exp. God of War: almost everything was a move built on pressing a certain combination of buttons that pop up on screen. it feels like the game is taking control of the game. well "I" want to feel in comlete control over every step and move the Character makes. ME1 is still my Fav. I have high expectations for this game as does everyone else, however, I just want to say "Thank you To the whole BIOWARE team for creating the greatest gaming experience I've encountered. I just hope this doesn't close the door for the Mass Effect universe. If I could give out Awards, I give yall the biggest one.

@ mgs00, I've been wearing glasses for 20 years now,  I know that I'm not imagining this new close-up cinematic type gameplay.  I'm not "trying" to knock it, just pointing it out.

He looks like he did in ME2 just with better graphics, more detail, and some scares. I like his new black alliance uniform I might just keep that as my on ship casuals.

I do like how you can make out the veins and the tone on the arms. Very classical.
