There is a very good chance that Steam will get the Digital Edition but after the official release and without any of the extra goodies.
That's how EA tries to be "better" than Steam.
Just buy retail.

I don't care about the extras EXCEPT for the character/mission. That's a big deal since it's more gameplay. The additional weapons are usually just unbalanced anyway.

Most ppl like Steam, because of it's services and other fan stuff wich the is no in Origin yet. I hope this "yet" will not be for years...
