Most women don't look like this because most women don't try or only do cadio if they do. I go to one of the biggest universities in Australia and I'm nearly always the only girl in the weights room if not the whole gym. This idea that women are naturaly much weaker than men is greatly exaggerated because they mostly dont try.
Well, a trained women can be much stronger and can easily go beyond the muscle mass of an untrained everyday male.In fact, the only way a woman can attain comparable levels of muscle mass to a man is to take steroids or other artificial testosterone enhancers.

This is why many professional female bodybuilders tend to go for hormone increase, which causes the absurd man-chin and beard we so often see in very muscular women, ofcourse this could happen to hormone imbalance by nature, but somehow i doubt this is the case for most bodybuilders.Carfax wrote...

Jeweledleah is right, and you're wrong. The reason why men can attain much higher levels of muscle mass with far less effort than women (and keep it as well) is due to hormones. Men make 10 to 20 times as much testosterone as women do for instance, which has a tremendous effect on muscle hypertrophy.

I want my femshep to look like this:

If FemSheps arms were any thinner they would fall off like twigs, shes not even on the level of amateur-athletes, she has the physique of an below-average person yet she is the savior of the whole galaxy, punches aliens 5 times her size, is a spec-ops, performs physically demanding stunts etc.azerSheppard wrote...
Also looking at the video Kaiser posted, i also agree femshep is enough of a butch already, i mean look at those arms, sheploo aint got **** on her.
And really, do you want her to look like Jacob? I think only Wolden would appreaciate that. He obviously has the fetisch.

Do you happen to know a female Spec op? or any spec op at all? I've met a female spotter/sniper in service, and she sure as hell didn't look like a roid monkey, or a man. Atleast know what you are talking about, i'm amazed how some of you people think spec ops look like Gears. The Woldan wrote...

How about looking at actual soldiers?jeweledleah wrote...
@ Xeranx. you are confusing figure competitions with actual bodybuilding competitions. they are different divisions and have different competitors.
most bodybuilders claim that they don't take steroids its whatever the supplement they are promoting these days that's allowing them to develop their muscles past certain size. riiight. well to be fair, the "supplements" that figure and fitness competitors take have different purpose. they are not looking for size, just certain degree of definition and above all else - symmetry. and she's not even a fitness competitor - she's a model. at least fitness competitors are genuinely strong.
that said - instead of looking to fitness models, how about looking at actual athletes? female fighters, gymnasts, etc. or better yet - how about female soldiers?
like I've said before and will say again - definition like the fitness models have is not possible unless you specifically deliberately work for it (not to mention- they flex their muscles when posing - read upon posing basics - they teach you how to make sure your muscles are flexed while looking relaxed and poised - and its something you have to practice.. a LOT). female athletes have little of it unless they are shown in action. and depending on genetic make up - they can look pretty darn skinny. case in point

now let me be clear. I'm actually a fan of bodybuilding and fitness, and I'm in awe at the results they achieve and supplements or not - they put in a LOT of hard work to look the way they do. but I have no illusions about their bodies. they look the way they do becasue its their job to look that way. they work out the way they do, because their purpose is to look that way.

Does anybody have a picture of an actual female Marine? That is probably your best bet.
If anybody is stationed in Afghanistan right now, snap a few pictures of the ladies. Perferably not the ones with assault rifles (that may end badly for you).
