Anderson Totally Dies in the Intro

It makes way too much sense.
Anderson is awesome sauce. Too much of it in fact. He's not only gotten the lead in a couple of books, but he continually proved his old guy mettle in ME1 going above and beyond for you when the chips were down, and even stood by you as much as he could in ME2. He's beloved.
He's also Keith David, and that too is awesome by osmosis. Awesmosis.
This is also BioWare. They kill SOMEONE in the first mission. Someone with a name, and a family or at least a small backstory. No exceptions.
Anderson has a name. He has a family. He has a backstory. He's also in the first mission. He's also one of the few characters that if killed quickly, would immediately make the story more dramatic, more poignant and more "Oh ****. Things just got real."
I'm going to miss ya buddy.

Being a mentor to the hero is always the kiss of death.

they killed Wilson and we hardly knew him
I think he is gonna get left behind and depending on your choices in-game, he will have survived the Reaper's occupation of Earth

They also described him as the wise old mentor.

Yes, I can totally see them killing him off. Dumbledore always dies.

Another good point in the "Anderson Dies in Intro" Column.
Mentors always die when they have nothing left to teach their student OR when it is dramatically convenient.
Anderson's got to help get Shepard free during the trial . . . that's dramatic. Then the reapers attack . . . further drama. Epic escape . . . further drama still.
Anderson dying? Climactic Moment!

In every ME game people are dying around Shepard on the first mission. Also, someone in Shepard's squad always dies by the end of the first mission. Someone is gonna die. This much, I know.
Not just ME, but BioWare in general. Happened in KOTOR. Also happened in Dragon Age 2.
It's like, their tradmark move.
Patented BioWare Murder-Death-Kill.

Uhh . . . Jonah, is it?
I'm trying to use reverse psychology on the BioWare.
As Anderson obviously dies in the intro - if we talk about how COMPLETELY OBVIOUS it is. Then maybe we can peer pressure them into realizing how COMPLETELY OBVIOUS it is, and they've DONE IT IN EVERY GAME, so that they actually won't do it in ME3 since we TOTALY SAW IT COMING BIOWARE.
Then Anderson lives!
And that . . . is definitely positive.
But keep this on the down low.

Thats what I think is going to happen. If thats the end of the level like it seems to be, then whoever they're going to kill off this time around, if they are going to kill them, is already dead.daqs wrote...
What's to stop Anderson from being the Kaidan or Jacob equivalent instead of the Jenkins or Wilson one?
Hopefully Anderson stays behind to organize the human resistance on Earth.
