What's wrong with a racist terroist group who attacks the Migrant Fleet, murders Alliance officers, performs genetic experiments on creatures, tortures children to turn them into super weapons, turns colonises itno husks, turns humans into machines agaisnt their will, and puts their own members under reaper indoctrination? They have some pretty cool armor.

Just so we're clear, performing genetic experiments is a GOOD THING. It's when you perform them on PEOPLE with reckless abandon and complete disregard for ethics that you get problems.

Cerberus is just one huge damn contradiction of itself. A pro-human terrorist group that kills humans (even human biotics by the dozens! Huh?), then brings a human hero/icon back to life...then betrays him and sends ludicrous amounts of firepower, manpower, and resources to hunt him down...in order to screw humanity over further. Lolwut?

But... they have cool armor. Look at their troops in ME3. Why can't I still fight alongside them and indoctrinate myself so I can wear some of that?

Yes. Cerberus has killed people. Cerberus is bad. (evil) And since it is wicked, it is bad, Cerberus is with the reapers. Because it has killed people. Because it''s bad. Obviously. Thank you for playing at Mass Effect, the brain in a jar.

Don't forget. Cerberus is bad, so it works with the reapers.

Kikoolol party ! lol, lol, lol ! eh , lol !

I agree. Horrific experiments, crimes against humanity and racism is pretty cool on my book as well.

Only because they manage to fail at all of their projects and get indoctrinated somehow.

Are you trying to take a swipe at Cerberus supporters? Because it's not really their fault that Cerberus gets turned into whatever the hell is convenient for the writers every game.

They are not indoctrinated. It's as good as confirmed. What Shepard said in the demo was an assumption - not an assertion.
And if you think better, Bioware isnt that cheap to make things sooo obvious.

I must've dreamt my Cerberus officer uniform wearing Lazarus project revived Shepard using Cerberus intel, strategic planning, personnel and hardware to stop the Collectors.

Yep, Cerberus had NOTHING to do with it. Nuh uh.

Do go on as to how that Lazarus officer saved humanity.

Cerberus would have never managed to fight against Collectors. They have had their ass kicked by the Alliance, the Turian Hierarchy and the Trident Police on the past.

"Cool Armor"?

Really? I didn't know anyone who used the Cerberus Armor in ME2. From what I could tell most people complained about not being able to take off the helmet.

In that case, there is nothing to save you Cerberus!

Without Cerberus, Shepard would never have found the Reaper IFF, would never have been able to data mine the collector ship, wouldn't have gotten to horizon in time, wouldn't have had EDI to provide key support during crucial missions....

Cerberus takes risks that are necessary, and sometimes they backfire.

You do realize that in all of these occasions, TIM either lied to Shepard or hadn't informed him from the beginning.,

Cerberus takes risks that are necessary

And there's your problem. No, they don't.
Most of their actions have very vague objectives, such as the advancement of humanity. How abducting tons of children to create a single good biotic advance humanity is way over my little idealistic brain.

Humanity first: The sacrifice of the few is deemed necessary for the good of many.

Here is an outtake from my Cerberus handbook
Cerberus protocol:
1. Advance humanity in anyway you see fit. Charity and horrid experiments on children are recomended ways to do so!
2. All troopers are required to wear cool, impractical armor with unremovable helmets that inhibit vision and hearing for added coolness.
3. All female operatives are required to wear catsuits. It helps the coolness.
4. All Cerberus ( read: terrorist! ) vessels are required to carry the Cerberus logo. This is another step in our three weeks motivational program. Its also kinda cool...
5. All operatives are requiered to not work for the shadow broker, im looking at you wilson!
6. All head scientists are encouraged to perform test on the autistic family members.
7. If you drink, chainsmoke and have eyetransplants, your kissing the bosses a**.
8. Completely switching agendas at inoportune times make stand out and look really cool. Lets do that!

If you follow protocol, everything will be allright.
Your friendly neighbourhood Lazarus operative :P
