please don't. Miranda is Hetero. Maybe mods?
she may be hetero to you but I approve this thread. My Femshep's been eyeing her since the beginning of ME2

I'm confused.
I was under the assumption that men see things as follows:
a) Man on woman = awesome
c) Woman on woman = awwww yeeeeaaah.
Or am I wrong / misunderstanding things?

LOL< no I think you got the general idea right
I'm totally with the idea of making Miranda Bi and honestly I think all romancable characters should be Bi, even though I'm hetero, I think a game should cater to everyone. It would certainly open up a whole new bach of dialogue options.

LOL< no I think you got the general idea right, unless the man in question is gay, then that changes everything, then A & C answers would turn into the answer for B, and B would have the answer from A & C, does that clarify things? LOL, clear as mud right?

Being in love and having sex is different. People who are bi-sexual may or may not fall in love with a similar sex. Usually its the case, atleast in real life. I have never met a bisexual who has had feelings for the same sex. Usually they are just testing the waters or trying out different things.
Its my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around.
Oh please, don't spout this off. It's just another bull theory about bisexuality akin to us being more prone to cheating. It makes me want to slam my head into a wall.

Well, one can change, it happens in real life, hetero becoming bi or gay.
Regardless of this... isn't it just easier to assume that in one's own gameplay a certain character is either straight or gay? I.e. if you want Miranda to be straight... don't make sexual advances on her as a female character... there, her character is now straight.
This is how it worked in DA2. Isabella in DA2 can be romanced by male or female... I had a female character... I decided, that for my game, Isabella was straight... so when dialogue options came up, I simply didn't choose romance related dialogues (were marked with a giant heart to let the player know)... there, magic, she was straight as she didn't pursue a relationship with me (and continued her endless flirting / teasing of Varric & his chest hair).
I don't get the big deal people have with this.... I didn't want Anders in DA2 to be homosexual when I was playing my male Hawke... so.. y'know... I NEVER FLIRTED WITH HIM.....and guess what? He was straight throughout the game and never made any advances on me. There, magic, he was straight.
If people have such issues with characters being gay or straight... just don't bloody flirt with them and they'll stay the orientation you want them to be.
Videos games.... it's not rocket surgery.... or is that science? Whatever.

While that's how it should be in an ideal world and if the stupid human monkey brains of ours would evolve sociologically as rapidly as we have evolved technologically... however, I was still under the impression that most (or many) men subscribed to the list I laid out.
At least those have been my observations in life.

I've heard of these people. Occaisionally run into them on the interwebs. But my day to day has an overwhelming majority of "whatever floats your boat" attitude. I live in the country, where stereotype has it that I'm a religious zealot and hate gays and blacks... but I like never see these people.
Whatever I'm just glad bioware isn't catering to the "afraid of the gayz" market.

21st century ??
More like:
a) Man on woman = borring ...
c) Woman on woman = again - sweet
That how this $&%ed up world is.
This is a game though and I dont care - but there should be a border. Ie some characters straight and some more prone to deviations.
Ashley with her belives should prevent any ****** relations, Kaidan, Jakob, Garus, Tali as well
Miranda could be as she is more atracted to what Shepherd does than who he/she is. (I woul;dnt call it true love regardless (anyway what was shown in game didnt looked like one - I dont know about her feelings - just to apeace all Miranda fans
Jack herself is a bit unstable and she looks like a Girl without moral contribution - she might fall for any person that would show her some feelings.
But that is it - Miranda (vaguely) Thane Jack + any Asari are more than enought

Loving the homophobia in this thread. In before the lock!
Homophobia is an natural reaction, homophilia isnt.
I dont aprove of any kind represions and lack of tolerance, but the fackt is that Homosexualism is wrong from nature's perspective, and therefore shouldnt be treated and curbed, less never propagated.
