I haven't seen a thread yet so here it goes:

BioWare has so far been mum about the multiplayer details for Mass Effect 3, with not even a hint at today’s E3 presentation. However, our secret source today confirmed during wee hours of the first day of E3 that the action-RPG is all set to have a full-fledged multiplayer campaign, which will be unveiled near the end of the year.

Not buying it. Multiplayer I could almost believe but the way the describe Horde mode is way off from what Bioware would make. Plus, they already said no multiplayer.

Bioware has already stated quite awhile ago (to Gameinformer I believe) there will be no multiplayer in ME3.

Yes, unless there is any valid evidence, this is BS, considering that Casey Hudson has confirmed that there will be no multiplayer, twice.

I don't do multiplayer.. and from what I've seen and heard... Single Player is going to consume every ounce of my life. So whatever they do outside of that is their business.

Bioware said no Multiplayer for ME3.

And multiplayer isn't something the ME series should ever have. It's not a mindless FPS.

multiplayer or co-op? cuz i can see my buddies joining my game and playing as my squadmates as winning.

Additionally, our source also detailed some parts of the multiplayer campaign. Here’s what we’ve been told:

• The game will feature a Horde style multiplayer mode with “crap loads” of maps.
• It will also have the regular modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag.
• The Horde mode will have objectives like Capture The Flag, King of the Hill, and simple shoot-to-kill ‘waves’ as well.
• Up to four players can play cooperatively in the Horde mode.
• Maps are “fairly small” but well designed.
• Players can choose from 6 different classes, or use a prebuilt
  one’s. Our source didn’t confirm what those classes were, but we reckon
  all those from ME2 will be present.
• There will be a level cap of 60.
• Some of the enemies were confirmed as well: Geth, Marauders, Husks,
  and a new enemy type called Brutes. The source described them as
  insanely “huge ass”.
• The game will also feature a ‘multiplayer store’. The store will carry upgrades for weapons, etc. and other items.
• Players will be able to buy said upgrades and items by earning
  in-game money based on their performance in the multiplayer. Our source
  wasn’t sure if the in-game money can be earned via the single player
  campaign as well, “but I doubt it. Seems like the (singleplayer and
  multiplayer) modes will be separate.”

I agree strongly with those saying "No Mutliplayer PLEASE"
Besides...I think that if they really want to do Multiplayer, they would be doing themselves a dis-service by not making it a whole, seperate Game...a lot of ME fans would certainly go out and buy a New ME title that was made mainly for Co-Op or PvP play.

They are making ME3 to compete with the major shooters. Every major shooter has multiplayer. Originally they said no multiplayer and that was when the release date was 2011. I think the "tweaked for larger audience" thing will be multiplayer added. I really hope i'm wrong on this, but it makes perfect sense.

Well, I did have a one of my bosses from EB Games go to a game conference in Aussieland about a month ago, and he said there will be MP in ME3. I posted it a while ago, what he wrote on FB, and everyone thought I was trolling when infact I wasn't. I don't know what to believe.
