Anyone else notice the nice detailing on Shepard?

On the Earth scene where Shepard is forcing open a door for Anderson to get through, we get a good close up of Shepard's upper body.. namely the hands and forearms - up to the elbow.

You can see a lot of detail in both corded musculature in the arms as well as the veins running through them... nice texturing and modelling work there I felt... the hands looked very detailed and rugged / worn as well.

Shep's hair seems a tad thicker too now (not much though)... but more noticeable is the facial hair. He now looks to have quite a few days growth of facial hair.. whereas in ME2 default Shep looked to have around 1-2 days growth at most.

Also in the Reaper base video, we got a lot of good looks at the N7 armor... most noticeably the nice chrome effect it has... liked that alot (particularly on the pauldrons)... the weird mesh-like texture patterning (tiny squares) on the armor from ME2 seems to be gone (which I'm glad for as it gave the armor an odd appearance at times (looked flat and plastic-like sometimes).

Hoping femshep gets nice detailing on her body as well.. and isn't just issued the same generic female body as all the other females like in ME2 (though to be fair, all males in ME2 had the same body as well). Always found it odd though that certain female characters in ME2 had unique body's different from all the other females (Miranda, Samara).. yet maleshep & femshep - the lead character - had the same generic body as all other NPCs... was kinda weird (especially seeing Joker having the body of an athlete and looking just as fit & strong as Shepard, heh).

Yeah I noticed tgat, in general the graphics seemed to have been further improved, credit to Bioware.

During the level with Mordin, did anyone else think Shepard looked a bit more aged and older?

Yeah...it also seems like Mordin is more detailed (signs of old age? Salarians have a very short lifespan and Mordin is near his last months and years, its possible that in the 4-8 months or whatever in between ME 2 and ME 3 that his physical appearance is beginning to look different)

The lighting also looks really good for some reason too.

Sort of.. but that may just be because of the increased facial hair (stubble) and thicker growth on his head (his buzz cut isn't as short as it was in ME2).

It also may just be that there seems to be greater detail added overall to his face & body, thus perhaps giving the impression he looks older. Seeing as how ME3 is only taking place a few months after ME2 / The Arrival, it wouldn't make much sense to have aged him.. so I suspect it's just the added detail.
