But anyway, Bioware said it would have closure to it, I'll leave that to individual interpretation.

All I know is I hope for better scenes like in ME 1. ME 2 romances was such a let down.. Garrus, a head bump.. Thane, at least I got a kiss but still... I want them shirtless!! XD

It sure is enough, but you know that's how it will go....  I'd love to be optimistic about it but I also don't want to be disappointed. This year is going to be too long.

Probably, Shepard always scores right before the final battle. It’s a tradition now.

As for cheating, I vote you end up like this. (yes that is firefly and yes I know its not really cheating since you were dead for two years and kinda broke up.)



More seriously you will probably just have a scene like in ME1 if you romance both Liara and Ash/Kai and a bit of fighting.

Gahhh, I hope the lovin' won't happen the night before the final mission. It's been done twice already - but to BioWare, that scene represents throwing all inhibitions out the window before the plunge. So chances are they'll do it again. If they don't, I fully support it and wonder when the loving will actually happen.

And we all want better scenes, but ever since that "scandal" for the first game, BioWare has slide back a little. They may not want to risk another attack. But...this is the last game, so maybe BioWare will reconsider.

EDIT:

I don't get how it can be cheating when the other person has moved on. *shrugs* Cheating is when you are in a committed relationship with that person, and you go behind that person's back with someone else. It's your Shepard's choice to either get over it, or hope to pick up things where they were left off. The love interest sent the apology email, but that does not mean y'all are magically back together; Kaidan/Ashley are just insinuating that maybe if you still feel the same way, there is still a chance - so it's all down to your choice to move on or hope the LI means what they said.

I am actually looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I stayed faithful to Liara. Seriously, how can anyone want to step out on her? Ash/Kaidan ticked me off enough after Horizon, the those Shepard got a new LI. Ash/Jack and Kaidan/Jacob. I am very interested in the fight between soldier/spectre girl and crazy biotic girl. With both guys being biotics, it a more even fight.

Hm. Part of me wants to take Thane off so we can go to the desert together.


Part of me wants to kill my Shepard off with him- together until the end. They can both find peace, Thane can have his atonement (my Shepard doesn't care about that for herself) and the universe can be safe.


But my bff Garrus will be destroyed, I think. D:

Agreed. However I think there should also be a little variety to that.

Shepard and LI die together, Reapers win.
Shepard and LI die together, Reapers lose.

That's just me though.

here are possibilitys that i see

1.)Reapers kill all
2.)Harem win victory
3.)live out remaining days with li
4.)i die but li if female has child or male live's to continue
5.)li indoctronated must kill
6.) shep lives li die's finale battle

just to many out comes mine would be

live life after reaper war with liara and kids out in colonies, continue few missions through years, explore, and die of old age enless they discover a way to live as long as asari(slow down body growth by using...)

See, the thing that I've been thinking is this...

Unless ALL previous LIs are going to be proper squadmates then it means that they ONLY way they could do this, is if ALL of the LIs can be in the location where the 'Let's get jiggy before the final mission' scenario takes place. Last two times... that was the Normandy. Which would make it really a bit bonkers for a temp squadmate to be there unless every squadmate whether temp or proper ends up on the Normandy before the big fight and we all go kick the Reapers in the daddy bags together.

Countering that there is then the question of how they handle all LI relationships equally, which would mean if some of the LIs that aren't confirmed yet as full-on squaddies are just temporary, then I can't see how they can handle it evenly.

Which leads me to the conclusion that the SR2 in ME3 is gonna be the Loveboat because it's gonna be full of all the LIs. Soooo... besides James (who I wonder will be another LI?) that means Garrus, Liara, Tali, VS, Miranda, Jacob, Thane and Jack on board and I'll suspect another alien female squadmate (who again possibly an LI) meaning... the ship has 10 squadmates ALL LI.

Where is the love for the squadmates who aren't potentially attracted to Shep? Considering how the previous games have leaned more towards the latter than the former...

ME = 2 LIs/sex 4 other squadmates
ME2 = 3 LIs/sex 9 other squadmates
ME3... so far from the confirmed... a potential 3 (Liara, Tali/Garrus, Ash/Kaidan)

It just seems a bit of a crazy swing all of a sudden.

Now ok, I suppose they could set it that if you didn't LI someone in the previous 2 games then you have to settle for one of the new ones, but I doubt they are going to do that. So to continue the theme of the OP question, am curious as to how romance will be handled from this perspective just as the others.

I'd like to go through the game with an established relationship.  That might be interesting and different.  Rather than:

1. Woo
2. Woo
3. Woo
4.  Woo
5. CONCLUSION
6. End of game.

I'd rather have (well for me since I romanced Ashley)

1. Reconnect (whatever that means...:innocent:)
2. re-establish rapport
3. full relationship with deeper meaning and interactions
4. End of game.
5. Profit!
