EDIT: Adding a poll: http://social.biowar...72/polls/23454/

I've noticed in the demos that Liara's face model is back to the original one used in ME1/ME2 (pink lips and a more flaky scalp), and not the updated LOTSB one (less flaky, blue lipstick)

And honestly, I want them to stick with the LOTSB face. I like the lipstick. I prefer the less flaky scalp. The unnaturally blue eyes. And I like the skin texture. I hope they change it back to that.

Another comparision:

Dunno. She looks more greyish instead of blue now though. What's up with that?

Yes. They should stick with the LOTSB face. Best looking and high quality.

They should not go back to the old version.

Might just be a placeholder. We're still a good deals away from release.

why need a placeholder when you already have the art and model?

Maybe her face just needs to be polished.

Same reason why Mattock has Vindicator picture at ammo counter.

Doesn't she have a huge cleavage hole now? I'm a little more concerned about that.

That looks like the old face being used as a placeholder. Or could be a lighting thing (i.e. Alistair in DA2)

Her Shadow Broker face was about perfect. Got rid of all the bad while still keeping her looking like her. They'd be fools to go back to the old.

I agree OP!

A dry, flaky scalp sucks.

I agree completely that LotSB > ME2. She almost looks like she's sick in ME2.

There's been a noticable increase in the size of the Mass Effect ladies'... um...

...'upper frontal protuberances', since Mass Effect 2. At the risk of sounding unmanly, I'm not wild about it. I like that the girls in ME1 were a bit more thin and lithe and didn't have two silicone globules grafted to their ribcage. It looked more sleek, and it set Mass Effect apart from most video games, where 'bigger is better' seems to be the prevailing 'wisdom'.

I guess i'm alone in thinking she looks better in ME2. Her facial details and texture are better in LOTSB, but imo the actual structure looks better in ME2.

Looking at her skin in the ME3 pic. Seems like everything has a greenish tint to it. Even her outfit, which it seems is the white one, looks greyish/green. Would need better lighting to tell how her appearance has really changed.

I haven't played LotSB (yet), but the ME3 face model looks better imo.

Yeah I'm not wild about it either. At least two characters (one who used to be a soldier and one who used to be a scientist) are now "sex bombs" with useless holes in their armor. Awesome treatment of your female characters.

Most likely a placeholder, I mean Mordin's VA hasn't finished recording his lines so I wouldn't be surprised if they're still tweaking various designs.

I think the "all men love big ******" stereotype needs to die already. So no, you don't sound unmanly.

If I could pick one look, I'd take the LoTSB one.

Liara's gorgeous blue eyes really show in LotSB. I hope they keep her LotSB face model.

I don't know why everyone gets into such a huff over armor.

A) The kinetic barriers are obviously small devices that can be built into clothing - as seen in ME 1 on light armor. That armor is VERY thin.

B) Notice how usually in stories the more armor someone has, the LESS useful it is? Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie = No Armor. The hundred of Stormtroopers they've slaughtered = Armor.

You're going to have to rewrite about 10,000 years of history if you want that one to change. Men have been worshipping big boobs since we lived in caves.

And yes some people won't prefer 'em. But as Mordin Solus himself once said "of course outliers in any race.".
