Ah, yes... didn't look at it from that perspective.

If they do keep her current ME3 look, I hope they at least attempt to explain her constantly changing face: I always assumed their faces lost the pink-ish tints as they became older, but now it's just weird. I can't really see Liara putting on lipstick, nor putting 'pink' on her freckles everyday... especially at the Prothean digsite you initially find her at.

What I like most about the LotSB face is the eyes. That's the feature I want. Those eyes.....

I'm going to assume I'm in the minority when I say I hated LotSB Liara's eyes?
They just looked too fake.

The new skin texture was good (made her look at least mildly alien) but the eyes..

Liara's face looked best during the me1 romance scene.... no not in that way....
it just looked the best there in my opinion... Liara seems to have age'd 100 years in 2 years... :/

Just my opinion but u should check the romance scene out again... she seems a lot younger

Everything seems a bit greyed in the ME3 screenshot, so I'm not sure I can compare.  I do like th LotSB one the best.

I like her LotSB eyes. They're noticeable and vivid, like Samara's.

I find LotSB better. The eyes are more intense and the blue make-up looks better than purple. However she could do without the reddish freckles.

The eyes are what makes the LotSB model the best, especially since she does look very grey in the new screenshots.... Keep the LotSB model

I thought the eyes looking fake, added to her "alien" look. However I could see how some could get a over the top model/anime vibe from them. I like the LotSB the best, personally.

I for one found that the sudden change in LotSB was unwarranted and broke immersion. I really like how she appears in this screenshot, it's sort of in between ME1 and LotSB, but leaning heavily toward ME1 which I prefer. Much upgraded from ME1; mostly the normal and spec map. The diffuse texture is rather similar but unless it's just some difference in the lighting or shaders, the eye shadow seems to have been touched up and the lips have definitely been touched up. I'd like it if she stayed exactly the way she is in the screenshot; it's amazing.

I am hoping that her face is will be changed and improved, or just copied from LotSB. (dem eyes)
Also lol @ fish referance, technicly asari are aquatic race, so it's not completely incorrect xD

Yes, so it seems, but add me to that minority. I found the whole radical redesign for LotSB jarring and unattractive. Looks too much like the radical overhauls they did in DA2 with the elves looking like goats and even the human characters being cursed with distracting vampire-like flourescent eye colors. Liara's LotSB eyes are particularly creepy and a radical departure from how lovely she looked in ME1 and ME2, at least prior to the LotSB mission. Thiis seems to telegraph a radical change in her essential character, IMHO.

If any squadmates are going to suddenly turn on you in ME3 it will be Liara.

I do admit that in LotSB she had a certain distinctive air about her.. a type of beauty that comes with more maturity.. so I feel that something in between would be the best, and this feels close to that.

She seems to have her eyes and lipstick back in the Alternate Costume. Though I think they're sticking with her ME1 look for the original costume.

@TMA LIVE, I could go along with her changing her lipstick with a different outfit but changing eye colour would be odd. I like the really bright blue eyes so I'm hoping that they'll be like that for the whole game.

I'm looking forward to finding out if there is an in-game reason for the shadows under her eyes. Or if that's just bad make-up.

I agree with this thread. Change her ME3 face to the face she had in LotSB NO ONE LIKES IT.

EDIT : Keep this thread going maybe we can make a difference, and not just for Liara fans, Ashley looks terrible, Vega is a retarded steroid junkie the way his face looks..
