There's nothing wrong with her, she just regressed back to her ME1 look.nocbl2 wrote...
I hope she didn't get poisoned. If she did there BETTER be a cure!

Okay, last one... otherwise I'll keep spamming images of her
God she's pretty in this shot. All I can say is if they DO only keep her LOTSB face for the Alt Appearance package, then I'm going to feel pretty damn smart for pre-ordering the game.

Like I said, friendship'd Liara would be pregnant with Feron instead =) We don't really know much about how asari work when they're pregnant. They're all wonderwomen any way who can even have children no matter the race or gender of their partner. Nothing says they become unable to fight just because they're carrying a child. It wouldn't be the first BioWare game with a pregnant NPC in battle either =)TMA LIVE wrote...
That can't be the case if you're in friendship mode. She's also going into battle, and getting shot.

Look at her Mass Effect 1 model then look at her Mass Effect 3 model, there's nothing wrong with her.QueenHyrule wrote...
Hi people! I'm new here...but I wondered the same thing on her face matter. Either way I think she's looked beautiful from the start, but I did prefer LOTSB I really hope she's not sick, I'd hate that. I really hope she's pregnant instead, or just changed from the stress perhaps? I'm really worried now.

I'd debate that, considering their response, but since when has what was said in a QnA been straight forward and blunt, right?

Personally I don't think there's nothing to debate. Her main game face models all look the same. It's as if people think her LotSB model is the consistent one while her other ME3 face is odd when really she's looked like that all along.SE JN wrote...

Thats because we assumed that Lotsb is her new high quality texture because her ME1 face looked weird and sick with the new graphic engine. And to be honest, Bioware really surprised me how good they make her look in Lotsb.jreezy wrote...

To go back to her ME1 face again seems to be a downgrade instead of improvement, and just like before, she looks sick. Another changing will make Lotsb now seems just like the black sheep on the series, wich would be a shame considering is such a great DLC

She's going back to her ME1 style, but they made significant improvements to the texture quality and level of detail. Mass Effect 1 Liara is the real Liara to me; she is the Liara I have spent the most time with, by far, so yes LotSB version of her is the black sheep as it should be. She doesn't look sick at all; even if she just looked exactly the same as ME1, she would still look good. I don't think anyone who played ME1 said "Ew!" when they encountered Liara for the first time on Therum.

Yes, but she's not even so blue as she was in ME1 either, i played the demo and she looks sick, in the squad screen and ingame. If this is her final face i'll very disappointed

To be honest, I thought the vibrant blue of her LotSB look was somewhat offputting, and the more subtle tone (the one you describe as "sick") has quite a bit more aesthetic appeal. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on which one's better, but surely you can agree that going back to the original isn't a reason to be "very disappointed?" I mean, it could be far, far worse.

Not at all, i'll not be disappointed if she goes back to her ME1 look, what i meant is that this new texture made in ME3 is not as blue as the original (ME1) Liara, is like if they put some green in the formula and that makes her look sick.
If i have to choose between this new ME3 and Lotsb i would pick the last one anytime. But if they fix the colors of the ME3 then i wouldnt mind so much

Well, texture isn't the same thing as color. And to me it looks like she has the same skin color, it's just the lighting that makes it look different. Take a look at this comparison pic and you can see the darker lighitng makes it look like a deeper shade of blue.

Wow, those look nearly identical. Same face model with different shaders, texture or lighting? Could that imply a placeholder model?

I think if Liara is in a relationship with Shepard, she should ask him which look he likes better and then adjust accordingly. Now that's embracing objectifying w ---! ....I mean eternity.
No, no, no. She should ask which you like better, and regardless of which you choose, she gets hysterical and claims you don't like the ways she looks or something.

Interesting.. Interesting.. I do believe Priestly mentioned something about Liara fans being quite, quite miffed at somepoint, disappoint, upset, angry, worried? The works, I don't have a viable backup, but IIRC he put something along those lines with is usual "" smiley.
Now, there's been some sort of disease mentioned, potentially fatale.. that a squadmate contracts or whatnot, life/death situation. I wonder if the colour change has anything to do with that? Darker, and in honesty, she does look a tad sickly.
Mayhaps going on Kai Leng's pic, of him inflatration the Normandy, or that's.. my interpretion, that Liara was poisoned, infected, took something that was meant for Shepard as sacrice/unknowing of doing so.
People have mentioned her looking a rather sad, might have a connection, eh, just my thoughts and in honesty it does make some sense.
When did Priestly say that? That's quite worrying. Although it's often better to take everything Priestly says with a grain (or an entire bag) of salt so I'll ignore this comment for a while.
As haters often point out in a negative way, BioWare seems to favor Liara greatly. Some call her BioWare's love child. And I'm just fine with that. If anything it'll greatly reduce the chance of something bad happening to Liara unavoidably. I seem to recall that BW rep say in last week's Q&A that some 'things' are unavoidable. He didn't mention if it included squad member deaths so not much to draw from that. And since that guy didn't even know who created the genophage I'm not sure how reliable a source he actually is.
