Doesn't she have a huge cleavage hole now? I'm a little more concerned about that.

Funny, I don't see that as a real concern, more like a little extra eye candy.

I think if Liara is in a relationship with Shepard, she should ask him which look he likes better and then adjust accordingly. Now that's embracing objectifying w ---! ....I mean eternity.

No, no, no. She should ask which you like better, and regardless of which you choose, she gets hysterical and claims you don't like the ways she looks or something.

That would be a hilarious scene.  The camera could just show Shep looking dumbfounded as she buries her face in her hands and runs off crying.

I voted for LotSB.

TMA, you should edit the title and write that the poll is available.

I'm just happy Liara is back. I missed my old ME1 team. ;)

It's the ME3 version for me. Her head in LotSB is really narrow.

ME3 version for me, too. She looked strange in LotSB, like she had a facelift and got prank'd by the Blue Man Group during the hour or so Shep spent driving to her apartment.

LOTSB Liara ftw!!!

I was wondering where in the world you were for quite a while, and now I finally know: lurking around Liara threads haha.

But I'm sorry Karmen Sandiego, I'm going to have to disagree and cast my vote for the original Liara look, aka the refined ME3 face model.

She looked better in ME1 than in ME2 default, i don't know, her colors seem dull in ME2.
Her LOTSB look is a higher quality one, but it looks like a different person to me (Femshep should've stopped everything and asked what kind of make up she was wearing ).

So overall, i like that they are going with a higher quality version of her ME1 look.

Someone doesn't mind Mass Effect 1 Liara's look for Liara in ME3? Wow!

Don't worry that isn't a place holder. For the DLC They just screwed up some adjustment layers on the texture in PS.

I'm just upset that there is basically no point to Liara looking super-awesome in LotSB now. That was all just a tease.

I mean, if there had been a Tali or Garrus DLC post-ME2 that had either of them looking significantly better than the ME1/ME2 counterparts, and then that model wasn't used in ME3, you could bet good money that there would be a riot on the forums about it.

She looks similar enough for me, it's not so bad as to be game breaking. This discussion seems to be decided on personal preferance more than anything, and I for one am happy with it.

I don't hate the ME3 look we've seen so far (Liara always looks good). But I would've liked some consistency. ME1, ME2, LotSB, and now ME3 all have Liara looking different. Once LotSB came out, I was sure that's what they were going to stick with for ME3, but no dice, it looks like.

Having been a Liara fan (she's alway been my fav. LI for male/femShep) since ME1, I have always loved her ME1 face. That being the case, while  I may be in the minority, I prefer the ME3 face to the LOTSB one  (although I wish they would give it the high quality texture of LOTSB). To me, the LOTSB face appears to be of Liara w/o any makeup on . While I can't explain the bluer irides, it makes sense that her lips have a blue pigment (to me the blue looks au naturel rather than having lipstick; they don't look glossy). Also, it would be consistant with the DLC's story line:  after Vasir shot at Liara, i would think she would be in a hurry to get to safety, (perhaps spending just enough time to get into battle dress, but certaintly not enough to put on makeup) , but thats only my  theory...

As for all the fear of her face not being the same as LOTSB for ME3, what about this pic?:

Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 Liara actually look pretty similar. The LOTSB look is the odd one out.

Keep her the same as ME2. I hate it when characters look different in every game.

As jreezy said, LotSB version of Liara is the only odd one out.  ME1, main game ME2, and ME3 Liara face models all loook the same, except the obvious greater level of detail and graphical upgrade in the ME3 version.  So anyone arguing for consistency should be fine with the ME3 look as it is, and anyone who's been a Liara fan from the beginning (which is the case for most Liara fans since she played a relatively minor role in ME2) should feel right at home as well.

So was I. I figure improving texture would go hand in hand with an increase in quality.
