I think the "all men love big ******" stereotype needs to die already.
But... we do.
That said, I'd rather they didn't go up and down and up and down like balloons at a birthday party.
Liara in ME1: same body as everyone else.
Liara in Shadow Broker base: BOOM!
Liara in Shepard's SR2 cabin: normal.
Liara in ME3: BOOM!

Doesn't she have a huge cleavage hole now? I'm a little more concerned about that.
There's been a noticable increase in the size of the Mass Effect ladies'... um...
...'upper frontal protuberances', since Mass Effect 2. At the risk of sounding unmanly, I'm not wild about it. I like that the girls in ME1 were a bit more thin and lithe and didn't have two silicone globules grafted to their ribcage. It looked more sleek, and it set Mass Effect apart from most video games, where 'bigger is better' seems to be the prevailing 'wisdom'.
I agree, but you have to remember what age group and gender most gaming companies are targetting, the horney teenage computer geeks, or simply, male players (ex: Miranda body design and Jack's outfit and Morrigan in DA:O). Gaming companies are doing the same thing that hollywood has been doing for years. Unfortuantely the number of female gamers has been increasing rapidly over the years and gaming companies haven't adjusted their designs to accomodate them or to make the charater designs more appealing to them (althought look at the modeling for Jacob in ME2). I am secure in my manhood but I don't like the female designs when they accentuate the breast area (especially for a character that suppose to be a soldier), I prefer the characters to look natural and realistic or at least some variety in body style, I would take small and perky over large and sagging anyday.

Yeah I'm not wild about it either. At least two characters (one who used to be a soldier and one who used to be a scientist) are now "sex bombs" with useless holes in their armor. Awesome treatment of your female characters.CaptainSpandex wrote...

I don't know why everyone gets into such a huff over armor.
A) The kinetic barriers are obviously small devices that can be built into clothing - as seen in ME 1 on light armor. That armor is VERY thin.Notice how usually in stories the more armor someone has, the LESS useful it is? Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie = No Armor. The hundred of Stormtroopers they've slaughtered = Armor.
Yeah, when you've got kinetic barriers, might as well look good in your armor that you don't need. That, or a bulletproof nudity clause... reminds me of a scene in Cleopatra 2525
Sarge: You're very concerned about the way you look.
Cleopatra (Mocking): You're very concerned about the way you look. Please, like those exposed midriffs are functional.

Thick armor must really protect those guns of hers.

I'm revoking your man card... effective immediately. Turn in your balls and gun. A 30 day suspension should help put things in perspective.

If by 'impressive' you mean 'absolutely gorgeous' then yes!
By the way: TMA - Nice job setting up this topic.

And yeah, please take the boobs/body type discussion elsewhere. This isn't the right thread to do that in, let alone the right forum.

It's hard to tell if it's just a Justicar thing, or if asari wear them ingeneral. I know a Cerberus News report says asari wear flower wreaths on Janiris' day.

I mean I'm all for it. They put so much work into making it look quite good, to only use it for a 1+ DLC would be a waste of effort.
