I think that you guys are reading to much into this. You see her for a great maximum of 15 seconds and the pictures are blury at best. i think the reason liara looks different is because of the lighting in that area of gameplay. i think it is to soon to complain about appearances until we get to see more of the game and more of liara. If given the choice i do a agree that liara is at her best at LOTSB.

I agree that Liara looked better in LotSB but she's clearly wearing lipstick and contacts. Her appearance in ME1 and ME2 are likely her natural appearance. When you first meet her in ME1 and ME2, she wasn't expecting you. She was dolled up in LotSB because you were supposed to be going to her apartment for drinks when the whole thing started.

As far as her larger breasts and pronounced head flakes are concerned in ME3. I'd suspect something of a physiological nature happened to her in the last 6 months sense our Sheps saw her in LotSB. Maybe she's pregnant? From Shep at the end of LotSB or from Feron. Fits assuming Asari gestation is longer then Humans. Be funny to have her drop that bomb on Shep at the worst possible time.

My explanation? People don't wear skin colored lipstick. In ME1 Liara was at a digsite, she had plenty of time to put lipstick on, being alone is no excuse to be a mess. In Lotsb she got home, took off her makeup and her contacts and the got attacked by Vasir, so she fled.
As for the bigger breasts, I think it's just the armor, but who knows, maybe the lots of little blue children was right, that's why her reaction a bit awkward.
As for that being Feron's kids? They didn't have the time to do it imo. She's not a **** to just sleep with people she barely knows, if you read the comic you would know.

lipstick and contacts she wears. Have to get to the bottom of this.

I did read the comic, but figured if you never romanced Liara, she could have been getting closer to Feron sense the ending of LotSB. In my playthrough, she slept with Shep at the end of LotSB. So her larger breasts will be milking Sheps Kids. Feron can babysit them when me and the misses are out of town on business.

I did read the comic, but figured if you never romanced Liara, she could have been getting closer to Feron sense the ending of LotSB. In my playthrough, she slept with Shep at the end of LotSB.

More important then stopping the Reapers imo.
However... I romanced Liara in ME1 and stayed faithful through ME2 and LotSB so her room might actually be the Captain's Quarters if you know what I mean

You're actually reading way to much in this... 
For LotSB, the devs just wanted to revamp the way Liara looks, so they improved her model ( better face, bigger boobs). It's not that she put on contacts and lipstick, she just got a look overhaul, the new look is to be considered her default one...

LotSB Liara looks too different from the original Liara. The new model won't be as big a jump for people who didn't buy LotSB, who I'd guess are the majority.

Just so you see how fast things can change, just look at the differences between character models in the DA2 demo and DA2 release.

I'm pretty sure that the lower quality art they're using is simply a placeholder. I can't imagine Bioware not moving forward without the Shadow Broker model. The difference in clarity is PS2 vs. PS3 imo.

Heh I remember on the first play through of ME2 when I got to Illium I was like...
Liara got the Ashley/Kaidan treatment, low poligon repurposed ME1 model.
I was rather disapointed.
But when I got to LotCB and they revealed Liara's new model I was really happy the way it looked.
The closeups show so much detail in it too.

It would be weird if Bioware just dumped all that hard work.
So I am also hopeful that this is a placeholder.

I didn't like the LotSB model, it was too different. And was stupid that it looked so different from the model used in ME2.

The one from ME3 looks nice, but how she looked in ME1 is still the best.

Had JIB put the ME2 Liara into the level up screen. Didn't realize the PC version had them so dark. Had to brighten them a bit.

I sort of saw it coming. The squad characters in KotOR had morality meters and certain characters have personalities that lean toward one side or the other (eg. Jack is obviously renegade while Miranda is on the paragon side).
