I would argue that my dear. Men inherintly do not handle 'loneliness' very well. Men need the companionship of a woman much much more than a woman needs a man. Women in general have many friends, are very close to them, hug them, kiss them (friendly) and are open with their friends.

Men do not have that, we do not do that with our male friends, thats what we do with a woman. Women generally also have more friends of the same sex than men do.

Again, men can't live without a woman, most women can live quite happily without a man in their life....not always, but that is the generalisation of our different sex's....

And that (to go off on a tangent slightly), if they are aware of it, is why women will always be the stronger sex.

I just might be the odd man out when it comes to what you're saying here. I've lived most of my life (21, going on 22 years) without a serious relationship, and I still do not feel a real need to get involved in one with a woman. I'm a heterosexual male, but strangely, there's just no urge to really get with any woman just yet. Sure, I have female friends. And I've had a few who have been interested in me. But I do have waaaaaay more guy friends than I do female. 

And I do not feel as if I am missing something completely. Romance is something that is optional. It only becomes a "need" when we desire it. Lol, I'm probably trying to put too much rationalization into this. The short answer is, I feel like I am an exception.

Either way, it is an interesting observation and point to make. I can see it being true in most cases for many men.
