Welll, the looks aren´t really similar. The personality however might well be, according to your posts. I´d not see it as a compliment, though, considering he´s a speciesist leader.....

As for the personality, that is another question... I still haven't experienced the Illusive Man first-hand yet (I finally got around to installing the game but not playing it beyond a few minutes); in any case I shall be paying especial regard to it now with that question in mind

I mean the Illusive Man resembles my father alot in this pic. And I do look like dad, but I don't have the blue eyes.

@ Tirigon. He isn't really speciesist. He is pro-human dominance, who doesn't mind collaborating with aliens. Which is what I am, but I don't mind aliens. Infact, I am a Quarian and Krogan sympathiser.
