Same here, I only really noticed because of the post... anyway, I apologize with all due form for my childish allusion to possible jokes based on that typo.

yeah, they didn't have any. I don't know if they were just temporarily sold out, cause I didn't ask. I'm going to Stockholm the week after next, they're bound to have some there if I can't find them before

edt: And you do that, Mia, good luck, I'm sure you'll find some! Just try the hosiery department at the big department stores, there's usually a good selection of tights, and maybe the H&M there has some additional models as well...

Mmm...It's good to be a guy. We don't need to worry about clothes. We can walk outside shirtless (well, not in Arizona...you'd get cancer too fast) and nobody bats an eye-lash.

I've always wondered why they make us study swedish in school (it's mandatory), but in sweden, they don't study finnish...That's not fair...

Why would we need to learn finnish? There's really no use for it here, nobody speaks it, and we don't listen/watch anything from Finland, really. I don't know why you're being taught swedish either, to be honest. English should be enough. Guess it's tradition.

Well, it's mandatory to study finnish, swedish and english here. Then the teachers encourage us to study at least one other language, mainly either french, german or russian. Weird stuff.



But, I'm getting off-topic at offtopic section, that's never a good sign.

The only opportunity I had to expand my linguistic skills was in my freshmen and sophomore years of highschool, where I got some basic spanish down.

Heh...asking my teacher about "bailar interpretivo" (interpretive dance). He raised his eyebrow at that one. And I think we did a skit about barbecuing pigs in the pool...We we're learning about summer themed words and phrases, and we just thought that there aren't enough people in the world who barbecue pigs in their pools.

So, yeah. Spanish class was fun, but we just don't have any sort of emphasis on learning it. We just sort of pretend to learn it.
