Well, in honour of your suggestion that I should have a look-alike in ME3 (which I quite liked, who wouldn't love to be in ME after all), I entertained myself by doing a very quick and very sloppy photo-shop-job of pasting my face onto Kelly's neck. (Actually, I used Gimp, but "gimp-job" sounds sleazy somehow...)

I just can't decide whether the image looks better as a .jpg, with the jpeg-typical low saturation of colour, or as a .png with a bit more rosiness to it... well, here they are so you can all be the judge:
(Again, I did this in 5 min, I know it's hardly professional)

Edit: Hm, it seems the difference in colour really just shows up on my Mac and not on the PC somehow, weird stuff...
I'm leaving the two images up, anyway, so that anyone who is viewing this thread on a Mac can tell me whether I'm seeing things or whether there IS actually a difference between the two pictures below

Lea: I'm on a Mac, and I do see a difference, though a subtle one. I think what you said about the differences in the two images sounds about right.

Also, I like that last picture! I think the outfit rather suits you, and I've decided that BioWare should probably include you as a character in Mass Effect 3.

And Sarevok: Good idea about the poll!  I'm actually not too serious about the whole thing-- at this point, I could really go either way on the haircut-- but it might be worth a try...

Thanks Noilly, so it's not just the voices in my head making me see things

I wonder why that is, that a Mac inherently displays .png images "darker" or more saturated in general... I mean, .png is supposed to have higher quality than .jpg and perhaps that's why it contains more colourfulness, then again it's weird that the difference isn't noticeable on a PC.

And thanks for supporting my inclusion in ME 3
I like that outfit too, I like many of the Mass Effect outfits; if I were one of these awesome people with skills at sewing and designing clothes et cetera, I'd probably make myself many a Mass Effect dress...

I have come to a decision. I am going to Edmonton in Alberta. Straight to Bioware's building. I am going to kick the door open, or maybe shoot the lock. Heck I will do both. Walk into their meeting room, slam those pics on the desk and tell them:
"THIS. NOW."

The only excuse they could give is: "The engine isn't powerful enough to illustrate such awesomeness".
To which I will reply: "Then you better start working on it. NOW".

Oh and, I totally forgot to comment on bunnie's pictures earlier - veeeeery pretty, especially your smile in that first one, and also yah for tongue piercings! I got mine when I was eighteen and have been very content with it since.

About this "Mac-thingie": Its a question of Monitors and used Software.
Graphical Artists are paying much money for good Monitors, so that the Screen-picture resembles the printed medium at its most.
For me the first picture looks better, saturation seems more lifeful.

Hmmm... maybe i will make a ME2 picture of me, you really get me ideas ^^

And thanks for clearing up the Mac thing, it seems the mac monitor is of better quality than my PC one then, if it can render more differentiated displays of colour... I used to have a device and software to calibrate the monitor's colours once, but not anymore.
