Ok, I want in on the fun, since I just went to the hairdressers today showing them a screenshot of one of my DA characters and demanding a hairstyle that resembled hers.

Here's the comparison so you can all be the judge of how good a job was done:
(Yeah, my hair is far less staight, the bangs are shorter etc; but you have to give them credit in the way that my hair certainly looked even LESS like in the left picture before the cut ;-) )

To everyone who pasted a fake pic, that is LAME. It's not cool or funny anymore because everybody does this on threads to the point where it's expected and thus mere clutter. If you don't have the stones to post your real face, just don't post a picture. The title is "Pics of DAO gamers," not "Random pics on the internet because I'm scared and have low self-esteem." Why don't you let US judge? Maybe some of that silly insecurity of yours would go away once you realize that we're nearly ALL average people here, not supermodels. Gorgeous people are the exception.

To Mordaedil and anybody else who's paranoid--look, most of us here are nice people. And I think it actually increases the humanity level when we all get proof that we're real human beings. You're less likely to be a jerk to someone whose face you've seen. Plus, it's interesting to have somebody graduate in your mind from just a personality to a shape of sorts. I like that. And me, well, I was at the Warden's Quest, so it's not like I can be all "NO ONE MUST EVER SEE ME!" so I have nothing to lose by posting pictures here. I'm not Tyra Banks, but nobody's eyeballs are going to bleed either.

DA fans have much better things to do than stalk and terrify each other--like play DA, so man up and show us the goods!

So this is me, taken a few months ago. And this is me at the Warden's Quest; sorry it's so blurry. You can see that I'm just barely over five feet tall and almost built like a real-life dwarf, minus the long arms and gorilla hands.

I have a few random thoughts on some of the pics I've seen so far. If something came to mind, I just said it; hopefully I won't embarrass myself too much in the process.

Hurr: Hmm. I'm not really seeing the Alistair resemblance people are talking about. It's probably just the hair.
Eshaye, you are SO adorable! You have the girl side of that attractive librarian thing going on.
Jack Momo, you and the missus make an awesome couple.
Balthaazar, you have a cool face.
Twitchmonkey, you are just plain hot. (Hope you don't mind me saying so.) And now that I've seen your second picture, great job with the avatar!
Dnarris, you have one of those faces (like Tamyn) that's intriguing and makes me immediately go, "Ooh, character creator time!" You'd make a perfect dwarf noble warrior.  
Wintermist, I don't know why, and please don't be offended because this is just the way my wacky brain works, but I immediately thought on seeing your pic that you'd look more at home in the uniform of a Starfleet captain; you just have that nobly looking off into the distance expression on your face. The red glasses make you look sort of Albert Wesker with darker coloring, which is gorgeous.
Heehee, pokemaughn, your pics are so cute and funny! You get hugged a lot, don't you? It's the smile. *scrolls down the page and laughs* Okay, that's just SCARY. P.S.: I love the "Someone on the Internet Doesn't Like Me!" pic. And the one with the kitten is just stupid-adorable.
LostSoulsofWoe, you have a great sense of style! I think I have a similar thing about hair; I don't have perfect hair by far, but I do love to touch it and find myself doing so pretty often.

Sable Rhapsody, that's a really cool photo, a nice shirt, and a very interesting expression on your face! 
Venthiros, umm... *lol* Wow, that's quite a picture... if only more guys had your idea of what's an appropriate sort of photo to post of yourself! What're our chances of getting a "Guys of the Dragon Age Forums" calender?
muniekk85, that pic is adorable and cool and nerdy all at once!  And the second is hilarious, you're really cute. 
Balgin Stonedraeg, you have a very expressive face, and it's obvious you have a sense of humor! 
Aquedius, you have a really cool tough chick look. ruvanye, that pirate pic is AWESOME! 
Tom Valencia--You're cute.
TitanMike357--Cool costumes! Nice arm brace; I remember my archery days in camp, those things are so necessary to avoid bruises.
Boeresmurf, woon je in Nederland, dan? Dat is maar een klein stuk rijden voor mij! Ik woon in Belgie en studeer in Leuven. Wat heb je liever op je frieten? Ketchup of mayonnaise? Ik begrijp zelfs niet waarom iemand meer vet op hun frieten zou willen, maar hier in Belgie is dat gewoon, en blijkbaar in Nederland ook, ten minste zo te horen. Aan de andere Nederlanders/Belgen, een vriendelijke groet van mij!

Quite a few cute girls on this thread, and the guys aren't half bad either. Here's a couple more photos, newer ones, although my head is shaved very, very short these days. The DA:O character creator probably let me get closer to what I actually look like than any other game. Let me know how I did with my avatar, I think it's relatively close.

Thank you Kuravid and Morganlafey; I'm glad the resemblance is noticeable as I really adore that particular DA do.
Also, I wanted to agree with El Stormo that your sawdust photo is awesome, Morganlafey, but the statement you made below it is very much not true

And thank you Wynne, you're making me blush; also I'm insanely jealous of you for having been at the Warden's Quest event, and that skirt-with-DA-shirt combo looks cool!

I love your picture, Steel Moon, and I also love your hair - despite my recent DA-inspired hairdo, I always wanted to be able to grow my hair long like that (I'm too impatient, and it ends up looking far too bushy at some point with mine).

And AgnosticTheocrat, you did quite a good job with the likeness imo!

Thanks, lea.l!  Your new hair style suits your bone structure though, and also your eyes.  I really like it.  Anyway having hair as long as mine can be a real chore most days.  It's hit or miss depending on weather conditions, activity etc., and it takes forever to wash and dry it properly.  LOL.
