This pic was taken by Doug Raflik showing the EF4 that pushed through Quinter, KS, in May 2008. Yeah, it's a butt pic, but the tornado should overshadow that eh?



I would love to post a family pic too--but they don't play the game. If you're REALLY interested, I'll pop it up there.

One last note: you guys who have shared are very brave and deserve props. For the men and women who say they're not attractive or whatever, I gotta say the personality you add to those photos shines through and makes the picture so much more than the sum of its parts.

But, yes, some of the feminine persuasion on this thread are seductively sumptuous. Thanks to all!

Frankly, a doctor is one of the last people you would consider being gamers. Much less a Mayo Clinic physician. Just saying, I am impressed.

Frankly, a doctor is one of the last people you would consider being gamers. Much less a Mayo Clinic physician. Just saying, I am impressed. 

Hah!  You'd be surprised.  Many of my colleagues and I play games a lot (when we can).  Actually had a ton of us who played Star Wars: Galaxies (now I'm the last one left ;( ).  But, thanks for the props.

The GT's, when it started in 98 to allows us to play SC together vs those guild in Battle.net,   had a software engineer consultant, a nipo-brazilian engineer living in Japan as "dekasegui" who later came back and became a Master PHD Computer Sciences, teacher in an university here and just graduated in Law School (and is my best friend to the date), a wannabe musician and international trading consultant - moi, and a 11 years older than me medical doctor, called Tartaruga, which is portuguese for Turtle. Among other whom the youngest were like in his 30's!

GT it's just a group of online friends, not a guild, who actually become real friends and had some nice RL meetings - like some 30 ppl bringing their puters from all over Brazil to play "live" SC in the building where I live when Lan House was just a concept here.

Tartaruga is the one that really taught me how to play RTS games since I was a real turtle then. When we quit Starcraft to play D2, Tartaruga-Rage duo records on Bnet were something like 500-50-20 (disconnets on phone line internet were common here then). Anyone who played Starcraft and entered a "2vs2 world" match may have contributed to those stats!

He's called "House" by his colleagues in these days and we're just as eager to meet our "victims" in SC2 as we were then! Doctors make great gamers!

Greater or Lesser vampire? hehe. Greater only get drunk from blood; they don't require it for survival. Or at least that's how it is in Slavic lore (I prefer it to western or whatever).
