It's true, they haven't been the same since the 80's, but I have this horrible habit of sticking with the bands I like even after they've passed their prime.  It's some sort of twisted sense of loyalty, I guess.  Consequently I have a lot of CDs collecting dust.  But all things considered, I'm still able to enjoy the Cure even if they have gone more mainstream. 


@mia_lu and hangmans tree: I can sympathize about the bad haircuts.  Once (only once and it will never happen again) I went to someone other than my normal stylist and she cut my hair above my shoulders when I very clearly told her to cut it to the middle of my shoulder blade.  I got home and called my friend and she offered to fix it.  I have no idea how she planned to do this.  Maybe pulling on it until it stretched? IDK  And then I got in my little Taurus and proceeded to make a left hand turn and get hit by a Jeep.  Yep, I totalled my car because of a bad haircut.  Exactly a week before Christmas.  Good times.  Anyway hangmans tree, I can assure you it does grow back.

A friend told me I resembled The Dude, and took this picture to prove it.

This one was in my less fuzz phase, as you may be able to tell from the eyes I was pretty drunk when this was taken.

Somehow, I don't think this is the kind of "flashy" you're going for. Though it is quite big, and the color is rather odd for a wedding ring...

I can't help it.  The fact that you look like The Dude is awesome enough.  But that your DA character looks like you and, therefore, like Lebowski...

I guess in europe we learn english english, not american english

Lauron, check it out.  Heres a tip on how to turn that first sentence into one that doesn't need an explination.  
Saying "too much" sounds negative.  Use a positive instead.

Yes, exactly, I was thinking along those lines! 

Take note, gentleman, here's one who has excellent taste in wedding rings. (If I was ever proposed to with one of these I think I'd be forced to accept for the sheer coolness factor...)

hangman is right, we are taught the British English variant in Europe mostly, and although I've spent a good part of my childhood in the US that appears to be what has stuck.

I can only hope my not being of British descent doesn't lessen the sincerity of your intentions, Godak

Don't be depressed over the hair, hangman - at least you still look medieval as you said, and resembling a medieval village idiot is still highly preferable over looking like an unremarkably plain old twenty-first century idiot!

Also, perhaps you should really consider letting the nose run free and beardless again, as it is at least as epic as the beard itself...

We were working on our module at the Builder Event.  I was under the impression that is was a bug (my fault) that caused spawning zombies to trigger the zombie spawn and create an infinte unstoppable swelling tide of death, but it turns out that at this point we were actually laughing at the hilarious dialogue that fluffyamoeba had written.

I did not say that a lack of a British accent would make me stop loving you forever.
Also, it's enough that you're an attractive young lady who has a firm grasp on the concept of grammar. The fact that you can hold an intelligent conversation is what brings you over the top!

...That's been a deal-breaker in the past.
