Ah yes, "pulcher, pulchra, pulchrum", but it still has the general meaning of beautiful, which can sort of be applied to both genders plus the neutral form if you wish
It's more a question of whether you'd consider defining a man as "beautiful" in the English translation of the word

In any case it's interesting to read the English pronunciation of the words spelled out, as the German pronunciation of Latin words tends to be a bit different, more "literal", pretty much the way it's written (something more like "pull-cherr", with that peculiar "ch" sound we Germans make )

Ahah yeah, in different languages a different translation can cause some giggles. For instance, I'm Italian, I've been defined "cute" sometimes by a few english speakers, and the literal translation of "cute" is something that, in Italy, one would never say of a man

Actually, I'm more like the "mom."  I'm always the designated driver since I'm straight edge (not the music so much as the lifestyle), so I get to fully enjoy everyone else's drunken antics and still remember the next day.

It's funny you should say that about women's vs. men's clothes.  I always find myself jealous of the designs on guy's shirts and wishing they were available in women's fitted sizes.

It really is frustrating, but it always turns out badly when I try so I've resigned myself to it.  I have zero social / interpersonal skills, and I'm ok with that.  It leaves me with alot more time to play Dragon Age.  LOL
Also, I love your outfit in the guitar picture.  Legwarmers are great and yours look very warm.  I'm constantly freezing this time of year so I appreciate a good pair.
I think maybe the guys need a timeout from you for a day, Lea.  You're making them all crazy-like.

@Squiggles:  I haven't seen my natural hair since I was 11 or 12 years old...though my mom wouldn't ever let me use permenant at that time so I was stuck putting in semipermenant 24 shampoo crap in my hair but oh well.  It was a really really dark brown, I'm Italian so the dark hair and brown eyes was pretty much a hereditary promise haha.  The video clip you sent me is excellent! Haha.

What? No way, women's clothing is better! I find lots of stuff in the women's section that's fitted or tapered, like coats and trousers. Designs for men are typically cut to be less flattering. I swear, whoever designed blazers must think men are shaped like boxes or something. Skinny women's clothing from the thrift second-hand store for me.

11 or 12 years old? How long ago was that? My hair is its natural color right now since I'm still looking for and interviewing for work and all that jazz. Really wanna mess with it again though.

That clip was from the movie Blue Velvet, by the way. David Lynch makes some pretty awesome messed-up-in-a-good-way movies.
