I wouldn´t dare to suppose anything of you, but I hear in such cases the common course of action is kissing the bride, going on honeymoon-holidays and living happily ever after.......

Or, since this is the 21. century, you can go to a lawyer and become divorced. - I hear this is quite common nowadays, too

Suit yourself, all I have to say is: a) I was seeeerious about the eyes and B) most clearly, my agenda in complimenting you is tied in with some sort of NEFARIOUS plan to mess with your head, ultimately control your mind and bring to fruition a scheme so evil, convoluted and confusing you will not realize where it is leading until it is way too late to do anything but scream in twisted horror at it's unfolding!
Phew. <_<

I agree with all of this a ton, most specifically that last statement  (And again I'm wishing for the old animated smiley that actually keeps on laughing...)

And Mav you little scoundrel, that is very naughty of you, especially with you being best man and all ;)

And now I need to resign to bed as well, only two hours of sleep last night due to simultaneously surfing the Bioware forums for new ME 2 juiciness and studying for a test...

...and EDIT:
That whole "I declare you man and woman, you may now kiss the bride" - "yummy, I get to french kiss the bride :)" - ".... I love reading this thread :D" exchange is actually so good I'd like it as a sig if my sig wasn't full already...
And to Thessa below me, yes, but it's also so much more interactive, no
Action-packed romance and what have you...

Why would anyone want to divorce a person like her? I mean, the standart common female annoyance is tolerable and I doubt she surpasses that level. Posted Image Plus, apply physical attractiveness and we get the following equation:
X is for how how annoying a woman is. Y is for the standart natural level of annoyance, and let's assume 1 is the basic level. R is for every woman's particular annoyance level, 1 being a normal common level. And Z is for the attractivness, 10 being very attractive.
So we get X= Y*R * 1/Z

If we are to apply this to Lea, we get something like
X= 1*1 * 1/10
X= 0.1
Lea's annoyance level is 0.1
Perfectly tolerbale Posted Image So the probablity of divorce is next to none.

And when a guy starts using mathematics on an issue like this is clearlly very nervous and ....shy Posted Image

EDIT: good night Lea!

And NO, no one gets to kiss the bride. Don't make me go like this on you!

Oh don't be, your clever use of distracting mathematics to shroud your shyness makes you even more endearing in my eyes :)

Although I'm not sure I'm happy about the insolent assumption of a "standard female annoyance level" - I think we might have our first martial disagreement at our hands here, and so early in, oh my!
(Psst, go along with me here, we'll have to play this up to satisfy the soap-opera angle of the thread ^_^)

Mav, I actually just decided to give you that position - I'm not quite sure which set of traditions we are holding the ceremony under, but we could have a look whether those involve the bride being traditionally obliged to kiss the first man... and possibly the bridesmaid; Lilith, I guess you'd do us the honour in that case? ;)

... and now I swear I'm going to sleep as I'd planned, this is just too distracting ;)

/edit - I just read Knight's edit and in that case, lads and lasses, I'm sorry I'll have to revoke the kissing privileges as my husband to be obviously does not take well to that sort of traditions as evidenced above...
And now a final good night to the thread, and a special goodnight to you, Knight (wait for it, I'm using it again:) :kissing:

All right. Should you reconsider, contact me. I´m good as lawyer for divorces.

If not, contact me anyways. I´m also good at organizing your honeymoon.

If you have other questions or problems, contact me. As a man of many talents I´m good at solving problems, too.

This is officially the best thread ever.

And I say that knowing that it will only get better. (When will I post my picture? Find out on next week's episode of "Why the Hell is the Kitchen on Fire?"!)

@ KnightofPhoenix: The destruction of the Coffee Table of Righteousness will force me to have an affair (An e-affair, no less! *gasp*) with your wife. These things have consequences, you know.

Uh, and, nice shirt you have there! They don't make equally cool stuff for men as they make for women, unfortunately.

Aw, thanks!
It's funny you should say that about women's vs. men's clothes.  I always find myself jealous of the designs on guy's shirts and wishing they were available in women's fitted sizes.

What? No way, women's clothing is better! I find lots of stuff in the women's section that's fitted or tapered, like coats and trousers. Designs for men are typically cut to be less flattering. I swear, whoever designed blazers must think men are shaped like boxes or something. Skinny women's clothing from the thrift second-hand store for me.

Oh I totally agree with you both that women's clothes fit infinitely better than men's.  I was talking about graphic designs on t-shirts and whatnot.  Personally if I'm not wearing solid colors, I'd rather wear things more reminiscent of tattoo designs (skulls, dragons, random graphic patterns, etc.) than hearts and flowers and freaking Edward Cullen. Posted Image

Geez, I go to work for one day and I miss Lea and Knight's wedding!  I'm very hurt that I didn't receive an invitation so I could arrange to attend. Posted Image  Oh well, it saves me from having to send a wedding gift.
